2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: September 14 - November 14, 2016

Is booking on the 19th just for Chase Disney card holders or also for AP and/or DVC? I'm sorry if I missed this info somewhere in the thread. I tried to skim through most of it before posting.

Sorry if I missed it somewhere. But I didn't see the premium package details anywhere. Does anybody know if they are still offering this or doing away with it this year? I hope it doesn't go away, we were hoping to do it there year.

Nothing has been released yet. We loved having the food runners but at this point I'm doubtful it will be back which is a super big bummer.

Thanks for the reply. That is a bummer! We were wanting to give this a shot as it sounds like a huge convenience.

The burger party is fun but club villain is awesome, if you can't do both then t do club villian

I just signed up for Club Villian for DW and I for Sept. 23rd. I'm pretty excited for it after seeing the great reviews it received in May.

Has anyone gone to the Burger Block Party Before? I am tempted about it but debating between that and Club Villain. thanks

I have not been to Club Villain but did try the Burger Party last year. It was... good/fine. I think the below link to a review from the food blog gives a good overview and descriptions of the types of burgers offered. My chief disappointment with it was that I'd booked based on The Chew hosting it and that amounted to maybe 10 minutes of them on the stage. So, don't book based on the "host." That said, food was good and the drinks were flowing freely. I will say it may not be for pickier eaters as these definitely weren't typical burgers (duck, grouper, veggie, etc.). The food & beverage is definitely the main event. There's no "entertainment" per se, other than the DJ and the "suspense" of what burger is crowned the winner. And you can catch Illuminations upon exit.

Was it announced ahead of booking last year? I remember the chaos about what was included at the start of booking but I cannot remember if there was a Disney announcement ahead of time.

One of the great unknowns. Originally the 19th was for AP/DVC for the seminars only. Now they added Chase for just about everything. Expect all kinds of bizarre results!

I think Tables in Wonderland is also included in the early booking window for deminars. It's going to be a very interesting several days! :headache:

Tables in Wonderland sent some details on the early booking for TiW members - 9am 7/19. Cooking demos, beverage seminars and the Make It/Celebrate It interactive experience are eligible. They have a schedule for all including the latter at the link below. Morimoto IS doing one on 9/17 - subject TBD.

I got the TiW email and my first thought was, "I thought it was 7 a.m.?"

If I HAVE to go on the weekend, what's my best strategy? I've been to F&W twice before, but only during the week. My dilemma is this - it's a quick weekend trip (adults only), getting in around 6pm on Friday Oct. 14 and leaving at noon on Monday Oct. 17. We also want to do the MNSSHP. My choices for MNSSHP are Friday night (which means rushing there right after we arrive), or Sunday night. If I choose Sunday night, which is the better choice because we can get into the park at 4PM, that only leaves Saturday for F&W. *Sigh*. Is it going to be REALLY bad? Is Sunday much better than Saturday?

I have visited on many Saturdays and they are definitely the worst, but you will be ok. Just know that you could be waiting in a food line for 20 minutes versus 5 minutes during the week

is there any list anywhere about info of the Signature dining?? dates etc? you would think that after 15 years things would be a bit more organized! How about Party for the senses and Seating at Vineyard ?

Honestly, it might just be me, but I feel like it's chaotic and disorganized every time... With bits and pieces of info all over the place. Frustrating. :(

ETA: I wish they could just give me EVERYTHING in one big Excel sheet so I could make sense of it!!

.

There really is no incentive for them to fix it. On Tuesday or Thursday we will be lined up to throw money at them.

If Tuesday morning the agent says "I have a premium package for $250 but no details on what it provides" people will book it.

I'm just as guilty. But they don't see any consequence to not being organized.

You would still have Sunday 11-when you leave for MNSSHP. Booths probably will be open earlier.
