I would take one of those restaurants away and do a signature restaurant for 2 TS credits. We love California Grill, or you can do the Spirit of Aloha show at the Polynesian.

GMTA! We already have Spirit of Aloha booked, but California Grill is on my shortlist! Off to look at menus (yet again)!

BB offer in August began on the 11th which was super early. I wonder if the FD offer will go a few days earlier then that? If it started on the 9th, it would be perfect for me.

I'm just thinking about ticket requirements.

Last few years you added Waterpark or Hopper to your base ticket.
This year the Waterpark ticket no longer exists as an add on to your base ticket. You have to buy a Hopper Plus ticket which includes the water parks.

I wonder if it will just be a hopper ticket you'll need to buy or if you'll have to pay the up charge to get both hopper and Waterpark to take advantage of FD.

I heard from a reliable source that free dining is being released a month earlier this year. Yea! I believe this source. THE waiting is killing me.

We are booked at the animal Kingdom villas Jambo house for 11/14/17 - 11/19/17. We are taking our grandson. Still thinking about the cabins at Fort Wilderness and taking our golf cart. Surprisingly the cabins are moderate, but they were more expensive than Animal Kingdom villas. Last time we took him we took our trailer and stayed at Fort wilderness and he had a ball on the golf cart. This year there were no sites at Fort wilderness for our trailer for our dates. I took my daughter last year for free dining from September 1 - 11 for 10 nights. The crowds were not real bad, but it was way too hot. We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in the princess rooms.

Last year it was 4/25 (only remember because it's ds birthday) maybe this year it will be 3/27? I've seen the 27th written before in blogs. Wonder if they'll release FD twice? I feel like they've done that before. Maybe release August/September this month and wait on later dates?!?!

On the historical discount calendar it says 4/27 but I like yours better. It's sooner. Lol

that happened in 2013. FD for Aug-Sept dropped ~ May 9th and then end of Sept-Dec was released toward the end of July. That was awful for people waiting for those later dates. We got lucky my sis got a PIN(UOC) for FD on May 9th that we used to book FD at POFQ.

Ok this scares me. We are looking at Dec 16-23. If I have to wait until July I will go insane and my husband and kids will probably kick me out of the house as they are so sick of me stressing over this and talking about the promo coming out and my strategies to get an affordable deal. Don't get me wrong they all want to go but they have no idea what really goes into the planning to make a Disney trip affordable and fun.

From booking dates, to ADR's, to FP+, all the calls to change things around, trying to get ADR's to fit in with your FP+ times, then cancelling and rebooking them, and waiting for an opening, praying.....it just goes on and on. Plus the new Pandora, waiting to see how it's tiered etc. The only comfort is you folks in here, struggling along with the rest of us. Thanks for saving my life!

It's so true! My DH has no clue....he thinks it just "magically" happens. He has no clue how much work I put in to making sure we don't wait on lines and eat at all our top restaurants!

My husband now rolls his eyes every time I open my mouth because he knows it is going to be about our Disney trip. I just can't stop talking about it and planning. SO much goes into it, but it's so exciting!

My daughter is planning her first trip for her and her boyfriend in the end of May and she has told me that she couldn't believe how much work goes into it and that she appreciated everything I did on ours.
