Brazil - the next likely pavilion

They have this going next to Germany. That would mean the end of the train set... I love that train set.
What?! For real? That train set is one of my favorite things in WS. It makes me nostalgic for my childhood. Figures they would go and remove it.

You're going to have to offer a little more insight as to why you think Spain, Mexico and Brazil would be too similar in what they offer ...

It's nothing against any of their offerings, but each of them are really derived from cultural roots of the Spanish Empire (Spain being obvious, and Mexico and Brazil were both colonies for lengthy periods of time). It's likely just my prior experiences with their food/beverages/etc., but I've always tended to view them as offshoots from a similar base.

I'd likely find the same issue if they decided to put a Scotland and Ireland pavilion into World Showcase. There's nothing wrong with any of them, but I'd prefer to see something new and not so similar.

Rio .... great movie. Very colorful just like Disney. Import the rum for the Ciprihinas (?) and help the economy recover. Dancing will commence and the people will get a chance to sample the Country without having to take the 15 hour flight. Win Win
People flipped out when Disney licensed IP from a non-Disney live action movie for Pandora.
Could you imagine the reaction if they licensed IP from a rival animation studio?

"Emperor's new Groove" and "Up" have been the only films that have taken place in Brazil. If they are going to build an attraction for this pavilion "Up" seems like the most logical choice. It is fairly new and it could really showcase the country.
Portions of Saludos Amigos and The Three Caballeros are set in Brazil. Jose Carioca is Brazillian.

I don't think there's enough space in the allotted niche between Germany & Italy to absorb even one BTG.

So they should build Spain for sure.
Then no need to build Brazil.
Then they could shut down the American Adventure since the US was derived mainly from UK, France, and Spain.
And they can shutter Canada since it was derived mainly from UK and France.
And Mexico since it was derived mainly from Spain.

Oh good dear...you too?

You have GOT To hold the line on this one...just try it and we'll see.

What kindercare was that "concept art" made at?

I mean...a mountain with a biblical figure on top? What disney have you guys been paying?
No this is real concept art from when Brazil was originally planned. It has floated around the internet several times.

If for some reason they start building these again (no valid argument has been made to why)...

Then Spain, greece, Russia, and Australia/New Zealand are the most logical choices by far.

Some of those are problematic...actually all are.

They should build Texas...why not?

I agree with India. It's architecture, trade goods (i.e. stuff they can make money from) are very different from the other countries. They could offer naan wraps at quick service and at table service they could have a traditional tandoori oven and one of the huge flat plates for making two foot long masala dosas at the front of the restaurants for people to watch would be fun for those who have never seen them before. Here's a video in case you've never seen that before. The huge ones are usually filled with a yummy mixture of potatoes and sometimes onions that isn't spicy at all. I know of multiple restaurants at home where I can get something similar since my dh is Indian but can you imagine how much getting something like that would blow most family's minds? They would Instagramming it and telling everyone about it when they returned home.
