Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Thank you so much krazeek120! That's very reassuring - especially as you have stayed at a good number of resorts. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a castle view :smickey:

I'm having trouble finding an email address for Disney Signature Services...I used the resort specific email address that I found somewhere at the very beginning of this post and never got a response. The website for DSS lists a phone number but not an email address.

If you click on the image the email and number is there.

I told my husband that I was planning our next trip to WDW, and he almost fell out of his chair. "We haven't been on our first trip yet!!!" "I know honey, but we might get a good deal while we are there, so I want to be prepared."
I figured some of you would get a chuckle out of that!

So I showed him the Polynesian, and he wasn't that interested, and my dream rooms over the water in the Bora Bora bungalows are way over our budget.

For those of you have done CL at the Beach Club and the Yacht Club, which one would you recommend? I am thinking that after being in walking distance to the MK, we should try being in walking/boat distance to Epcot and HS. Also, if BWI has a CL, would that be a good choice?
BWI does have a CL and it is called the Innkeepers club. My favorite CL hands down but let's not let the secret out:)

Tikiman on Facebook has posted the view/price increases and a standard pool at the Polynesian is now $100 more, sounds like they are upping the $25 per adult over 2 in the room to $35 and contemplating a $20 charge to park at a resort per
Day as well.

I thought that would've been included in the price, apparently not. Honestly to me it feels a bit forced. Like you either get a 2nd room or incur an even higher fee which could turn your savings into zilch? Oh and btw you have no choice but to take the parking fee if you should decide to drive and not need to use our minivan service?

Not crazy about this. Well, might have to skip club level cause of all this.

As a mom to a soon to be 18yo who will graduate HS in June...this really ticks me off. I mean, I get it that it's only $10 more per night than usual but I wasn't psyched about the extra "adult" (I used quotes on purpose because she is most definitely barely an adult) fee in the first place. Wondering if the fee will be resort specific or throughout all resorts?

The joys of having a kid with an early fall birthday...sigh.

Hi samara- I think I just saw you on the F&W thread! In case you missed it if you have a club level reservation you can book your F&W events now by calling DSS, you just need your reservation number. I don't have time to go back and look but I think you're still deciding- but if there is anything you know you want and you have a CL reservation call DSS today :) phone number is 407-939-7777

We have poly cl booked at the moment but now I am starting to change my mind. Thinking we might be happier at BWI. Anyone have any suggestions?? Which CL experience is better?

If you have little ones, seeing the Castle from Poly CL is priceless. Poly is our DVC home resort and we'll be moving over there after our splurge at BWI. Poly was completely booked when we decided to "add on" a few days and BWI was next available. Each resort has its own "vibe" and you really won't know if YOU it like until you stay there. Hope you enjoy your trip!

My only suggestion is no dining plan with Club Level. Too.Much.Food!!!

Thank you for the kind welcome mickeynut! I am loving the planning stage :tigger:

You're welcome! I love the planning stage, too :goodvibes.

Lettuce wraps are so good!

New seating on floor 3 too!

Illl post pix when I have time to resize.

Good to see regular faces . Yvette is always sweet .

Thanks for checking in. Glad you're having a good time :).

I have a question regarding bags and Bell Services when you arrive early at your resort.

When we arrived at the GF last year, it was already night so obviously our room was ready!

This year, we'll be staying onsite (at the PO) before our stay at the AKL. We'll probably get up early in the morning, knowing the room won't be ready, but the Mimosa's in the lounge will. :woohoo:

What shall we do with our bags? Give them to Bell Services as we arrive? Should we ask the reception first if our room is available? What if we're being escorted by a CM to that AKL lounge (I'm not even sure this is a possibility there?)

This might sound a silly question but I'd sure there a sensible thing to do!

Give them to Bell Services when you arrive. Rooms are so far away you won't want to haul them to your own room. If you room is ready you can call for them, if your room isn't ready they just wait at Bell Services until you call for them when your room is ready :)

Are you driving yourself over? What's your plan that day?

I'd check them with bell services outside and go check in (however check-in is handled at AKL CL, I'm not sure). We typically arrive early, well before I expect our room to be ready, and just leave everything with bell services. We do pack a day bag for that day depending on our plan in case we have things we need (swimsuits, suntan lotion, diapers, etc).

When your room is ready later that day, you can either call down to have your bags sent up (you have to physically be in the room for them to leave them, it's not like DME) or get them yourself from bell services.

If you are not driving yourself or using taxi/uber to get to AKL, you can have Disney move your baggage for you between resorts. Although don't expect to your bags until much later in the day... 4PM+.

Does that help?

Thank you so much! I called and was able to reserve the F&W experiences I wanted. Plus, the cast member got me the 8am Crystal Palace reservation I had given up on!

Thank you for the tip regarding the resort size! I hadn't thought about it, but it makes perfect sense giving our bags to Bell Services even if our room is available.

We're staying Disney's, however we felt it would be easier for us to Uber with our bags. Faster, and if we need something inside, we can just ask Bell Services.

If only we were staying at YC/BC we could have tried the Minnie Van ;-)
