i have never been to WDW with just one other person. Will that make a difference in our seating location? I hope we aren't always put in a corner or near the kitchen entrance. What are your experiences? We have ADR's at BOG, LTT, Chefs de France, Tutto Italia and Sci-Fi diner.

i am almost always at a table for 2 and have never had a bad location. they are all throughout the restaurant, not just in corners and odd spots. there are TONS of couples who go to disney

Agree with the PP that being only 2 people won't relegate you to a "bad" table.

We have not found the table locations to be a problem. Our only complaint is with the smaller size of the two-top tables in some of the restaurants. In compensation, we sometimes get seated at a four-top with plenty of tabletop real estate.

We are always a party of 2. At Liberty Tree, we have been seated in every room, usually the table would seat 4. Chefs of France has great tables for 2. They are in the large room & near the front window. Never had a bad table there. Tutto Italia, we are often seated in the small room with lots of windows. A few times in the main room near a busier area. Not bad enough to complain about tho. Sci Fi, you will probably be seated in the back row of a car, "hitchhikers" with another party in front of you. No real bad cars so not a problem there. We have only been to BOG for dinner once, we were in the Rose Room, right near the rose. Nice table but people did come near us to look at the rose. Not right at our table, just near us. Didn't bother us & I think that was a table for 4 too. We prefer lunch at BOG & always sit in the gallery.

Wouldn't worry to much about your seats. Just as likely to get a bad table with a bigger party as you are with a party of 2.

Joining in to say as a party of two, we didn't usually get bad tables. At BOG for dinner, we were seated at a 4 top right next to the windows at the far end of the ballroom. It was absolutely magical. Due to the set up it felt much less like a loud cafeteria from there, and being next to the windows was amazing.

We did get a not great table at the Hollywood Brown Derby--right next to the head waiter's stand where he stands to monitor the dining room, but I didn't really like any of the 2 tops they had there (all around the upper edge, next to the railing).. Cinderella's Royal Table was just a normal table (a 4 top)--not a bad location or a good one, just a location. Nothing to complain about.

Basically, concurring with everyone else: don't worry about it, a party of 2 is just as likely to get a good table as anyone else. :)

Thanks for the replies - I feel so much better now. I am glad to hear of the tables for 2 at Chefs de France as that is where our candlelight processional dinner is. We also sat at the edge of the ballroom at BOG at a wonderful table by the windows. There were 3 of us. It truly was magical with the snow falling. Our second visit - also with 3 - was in the West Wing and we really liked that as well. We may end up cancelling at Sci-Fi. The problem is, where do we eat? We had a great meal at HBD once but the service was extremely slow. We may try the lounge there.

My husband always refuses a bad table. That's why I always let him walk ahead of me to table. He's pickier than me. We will wait much longer rather than sit at what he considers a bad table...in middle of room, next to kitchen or bar, etc

Cedricandsophie - Yes, I think if we are given a really bad table, we will ask to be moved as well. What I hate is being squashed in a corner!

We are a party of 2 and sometimes we get a great location and other times not, pretty much the same odds as any other table size really.

This is me LOL! I hate a bad table. I understand that when you are seated, it's more about putting you in a certain servers station so they all get equal patrons. But I hate sitting too close to the restroom or in tables that are too close to other tables (if a booth is available) etc.

^^^^ This ^^^^ But we've never had a bad table when just the 2 of us.
I have. We were a party of 2, the very first customers of the morning at Chef Mickey's. And they tried to sit us directly next to the open kitchen door.

It has been the two of us many times and never once have we had a bad seat because of it. We have gone to all the places you have listed and had great seats at them all. The only real issue I had was with Chef De France where the table seemed a little small but that could have been because the amount of food and drinks we were having.

1) Tables for two (aka: "deuce") are usually squeezed into an area here bigger tables won't fit.
2) To avoid a "possible" poor location, ask the podium person (aka: SEATER) for a "four-top"
3) They can relay this to the ASSIGNER via computer message and you might get a better table. *
4) I want room to stretch out, and a deuce is just too cramping for me.

* I have done this so many times, it is automatic when I approach a podium - at WDW or elsewhere.
