Looks like there is another huge hurricane going towards the Caribbean and the Bahamas! May become a cat 4! There are going to be no islands left for DCL to go to except the Western Carribean We are scheduled on the Thanksgiving cruise to the Eastern Carribean and Im pretty sure our ports will be changed.

It's a cat 5 as of 7 PM EST

There will be no Eastern Caribbean cruises to those ports this year. The military is there and are saying a minimum of 6-12 months to repair the docks. The western ports already have the those cruises on their websites for the remainder of the year.

I feel sorry for those people effected by all this devastation left behind by all these hurricanes. The last thing anyone needs is another hurricane.

Unfortunately these islands were practically wiped off the face of the earth by Irma. And now Maria... You would not want to visit even if you could. People there are struggling to survive. Donate generously to the charity of choice. And pray for them and that their homes can be repaired and rebuilt and that they may return.

Then why hasn't DCL announced this for our Thanksgiving cruise?

I appreciated Trera's updating the board on the status of the hurricane. There wasn't another button to express my appreciation. If it makes you happy, I removed the "like."

Dominica is getting pummeled and I can't like that at all. :scared:
You did nothing wrong. The "like" button is often used for when one appreciates someone posting certain information.

We are booked to do the repositoning cruise from San Juan - Miami. They already cancelled all cruises to Tortola... And now PC is going to get clobbered as well. I can't imagine the devastation that these storms are having on all these people. Mother Nature is truly pissed off with us this time. Praying this will be the end of HUrricane Season so these survivors can rebuild their lives.

The "like" button isn't just used when you like what is said. You can also use it when you appreciate the information so settle down. There's no need to yell at this poster

I wasn't yelling. I was asking a question.

Did you mean PR for Puerto Rico? Because according to the current track and the spaghetti models Maria is not expected to hit Florida and Port Canaveral, Thank Goodness!
