Las Vegas Shooting

Perhaps this person had some behaviors that were notable even many years ago that would be insightful to the investigation.
Very possible. But I think the point is PP claimed the ex wives "MUST have some perspective". There's no guarantee. I think it's the same poster who believes there were "missed signals". Everyone is looking for the why. Unfortunately, sometimes bad things happen and they couldn't be realistically foreseen and/or prevented.

Re the girlfriend. I wonder if some are saying she's "not a suspect" just so she goes back to her normal routine in order to find out more about her. I watched an investigative expert on the news tonight who said that this investigation is nowhere near complete; in fact, it's just getting started. It's hard to believe there are people here who are already completely certain she's innocent. Aren't we always told not to jump to conclusions?

Well, even though I commented on the girlfriend thing, I did not say she was completely innocent. I think immediately jumping to her having ISIS ties because she is Filipino (which has been done) is jumping to conclusions.

. Some are clearly semi-automatics that had been modified into full auto capability.

How can you tell that the gun had been modified into full auto capability from the picture? I see the bump stock.

You are not alone in being curious. No one knows why the money was sent, but what is clear is that a string of coincidences are aligning in a way that is making the "high limit hostess" look more and more suspicious. Specifically:
  • She coincidentally leaves the country shortly before Sugar Daddy goes on his rampage.
  • She coincidentally receives $100,000 from Sugar Daddy once outside U.S jurisdiction.
  • It coincidentally begins to appear over the last two days that U.S. investigators are flaying around with their on and off "subject of interest" classification, which suggests they are struggling with the fact they are not in a position to force her to return to the U.S.
Which leaves me with the same thought I made in a prior post:

Hire the Israelis. They will snatch the "high limit hostess"off the streets of Manila in an hour and deliver her to Marine Corps Base Quantico by 8am the next day.
Kidnapping citizens of foreign countries tends to be frowned upon. She didn't have to come back to the US, but returned when she was expected to.

In regards to the GF... sometimes it seems we switched from the presumption of innocence until proven guilty... to guilty until proven innocent. All we really know is that she has cooperated thus far, is not hiding, and has returned to the US when requested.

IDK, although the ability to wire $100,000's of $$ is soooo not in my capability, I guess I do not see anything that super odd about a relatively wealthy man, when contemplating something that would kill 59 innocent people and also likely result in his death, to send $$ to his girlfriend who is out of the country. Even if she is not involved at all except by association... this is still going to be a mess for her, hiring a lawyer would be prudent and would require funds.

Such a horror. My sincere condolences to the families of the victims.

I definitely agree with that. I can easily see a scenario not where she left because she knew he was about to do something terrible, but that he chose to do this terrible thing while she was out of the country (for any number of reasons - perhaps because he knew she would stop him if she knew about it.)

Apparently she has been married to two people at one time and has used 2 different SS# in the past, and used 2 different dates of birth.
It doesn't make her an accessory to this, but it doesn't paint her in the greatest light either.

Split personalities? lol

The ISIS connection isn't ONLY because she is Filipino, and it's more about the shooters connection to ISIS than her anyway.

ISIS did claim responsibility, though they have lied before and LE says they have found no truth to that claim....at this point. I also don't think LE is going to tell the public everything they know at this point.

Many of these lone wolf attacks here and around the world have been as a result of people following ISIS - so why are people so hesitant to explore that possibility?

And ISIS has a strong presence in the Philippines and the shooter has traveled there and he wired money to an account there.

I don't think it's unreasonable to think that it's possible. And I'll say it again, we are having a discussion here. It's not like any of us are directly involved in the investigation and what we say is going to have ANY affect on the entire situation anyway.

I'll never understand the argument that "oh well, they are criminals and they will just find another way to kill people, so there's nothing we can do." WHY make it easier for them!? Why allow, why even have, tools that can hurt/kill over 600 people in minutes?!

Does that include things that aren't guns?
You can make your own bombs using many things, do we not allow any of them?
Texting and driving kills 3,000 teens a year, injures 300,000. DO we disallow phone all together?
Where do you draw the line when you say "tools that can hurt/kill"?

I am pro 2nd amendment, but I am also pro regulations. What I am not pro is disallowing things because SOME people use them in ways to kill people. I also know that the only people who will abide by the regulations imposed are law abiding, responsible people. Those people intent on doing harm will still do harm, something that still needs to be talked about not just brushed aside because it doesn't fit the narrative.

You are just spreading gossip and conspiracy theories. Yeah nothing anyone says here will change the investigation but spreading gossip and conspiracy can have a very negative influence on what the public knows and understands. It can negatively impact people involved in the situation.
To a certain point it's really distasteful. It's coming of like you are enjoying all your digging, gossiping and theorizing.

But I assume you weren't married to a psycopathic mass murderer? Perhaps this person had some behaviors that were notable even many years ago that would be insightful to the investigation.

Just saw footage of a van at LAX with her supposedly inside.

I mean sure I see why they would talk to the ex-wives. But especially for the short marriage of over 20 years ago it's not a "must" that she would have much perspective. Maybe some insight into family dynamics.

Yet there's limits on how much Sudafed one can buy, because some people use it to make meth.

What have I said that isn't true?

People are not that interested in discussing this theory because maybe it does not make a lot of sense. Why would a very wealthy older white male with a penchant for big stakes gambling become radicalized by ISIS?

Usually radicalization follows disenfranchised youth, this man does not fit the profile.

He was wealthy but he was a loner, kept to himself. Wealth does not equal happiness or connection to people.
