I love cooking and baking. My husband is super picky, so he doesn't like all of my cooking. Thankfully I have adventurous friends who like what I make.

Yes, but I don't enjoy it. I really don't care that much about food. I eat, of course, but I don't view it as an experience.

Yes, I can cook. I can follow a recipe and make pretty good meals most of the time. I do not like to cook. Eating meals out everyday or hiring a chef isn’t an option, so I’ll continue doing my least favorite chore.

I also have trouble enjoying eating out sometimes because if it’s not good, I get annoyed that I paid 4X what the at home and organic version would have cost me.

Yup. I cook. We hardly ever eat out anymore at home because of it. I can cook a nice meal faster than we can drive to a restaurant and order the food, get the food and eat.

My only issue is food is eaten in 15 minutes yet I've spent 45 minutes making it. LOL

Yes, I do cook and I like to cook. And DH likes to eat!

I really like cooking but I LOVE to bake.

We have a grill but DH cooks on it. I guess I'd like to learn to grill well but I just never have.

I can grill, and I'm capable of simple stovetop dishes. Not much good beyond that.

I can cook, but I enjoy baking more.

Right now,I have pot roast in the crock pot,the crock pot is my friend, lol.

Yes, I can cook. I followed in both my grandmother's footsteps in that department. I enjoy it a lot and love trying new recipes, but I hate when they don't turn out right or we don't like them (neither of which happens very often, thankfully) as then I feel like I've wasted my time AND the money it cost for the ingredients.

DH is not a picky eater at all, and never complains about anything I cook. Some things he likes better than others, but he will eat it all. :)

I love to bake too, but neither of us needs the calories so I don't do it very often anymore. And generally when I do bake something I share it with others so we don't have 5 dozen cookies or a big cake here to eat all by ourselves. :)

I selected certain recipes because I can cook okay, not great but mediocre, but I don't like to cook. I am not good with timing on complicated meals. I like doing one pot/dish meals, desserts and cookout stuff (where you can make one thing at a time and put in fridge, doing it the day before even). Thanksgiving meal stinks for me as I can never get everything done well and out on time and hot. I can do more difficult meals by following a recipe, like Blue Apron and the such, but I am not a fan. And if it's not delivery meals like Blue Apron, Home Chef or HelloFresh and it's a complicated recipe that I have to buy a ton of stuff to make and measure out, wash, chop/dice/grate/etc....and use up a lot of items in my kitchen that I then need to wash....blech :crazy2:

There are a few things I cook well but I’m not an adventurous eater therefor I am not an adventurous cook. Baking is more my thing.

Yes I cook and enjoy it but am not a particularly talented baker. Cooking can be free form once you learn the basics whilst baking is more of a science. I prefer less science;).

This is me. I could go the rest of my life never eating a traditional meal. I'm ok with yogurt for dinner. But alas, I still have a few kids at home. And a husband. So I cook. But I loathe it.

See, my wife thinks it's her duty to feed us all a proper meal and honestly the rest of us would be perfectly fine with a single serving meal every day - and UNLIKE my wife, the rest of us would be happy eating that one thing every meal until it's gone LOL

I can cook, and I enjoy it most of the time. And, yes, people like my cooking. Unless you're talking about my two younger kids, who are very picky eaters.

I love baking and have been teaching my daughter all of my favorite recipes for the past few years. She's become quite good at it and she's only 11!
