Do You Trust the Media?

Again, there is video of the incident, show me where she got hit by the car? I have seen the video and I don’t see where she got hit. I saw a man get hit, I saw the Antifa group that she was part of hitting the car and others with bats. Saw the broken car windows but never saw her get hit.

And yet Heather is dead but you want to fixate on the fact that she smoked, wears black and was overweight? To debate for the sake of taking a side not for truth.

. I know about the over 300 Somalis that were killed by a bomb. I learned it at 1 this morning, by a site that wouldn’t be considered main stream media.

I know about it because a programmer I follow on Twitter mentioned it and it was on The Guardian.

sadly I believe that the Elka is disputing that she was actually run over, I think the insinuation is that the heart attack was brought on by being overweight, smoking while wearing black on a hot day, and that her death was not related to the car. Please correct me if I am wrong ELKA.

Sigh .... so all those people in Charlotesville who were injured and photographed being hit by the car do not exist? Or they are lying? Or are they paid stunt actors?

SMH

Did I say no one was hit by the car? Or did I say that I didn’t see her hit by the car. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Lordy!

I agree with your assumptions @Suger Mag, I don't like them...but I think you've captured it.

I wondering if I shouldn't wear black when I go out tonight. I don't smoke, and I'm not overweight and it shouldn't be too hot, ya reckon I'm ok? Otherwise it was going to be black dress, leggings and ballet flats...

I follow a news aggregator that lists top stories - there were many sites, most of the main sites in fact that listed the Somalia story. It's just that it gets buried under junk so quickly that it gets easy to miss. But it was in fact reported on by many places.

And yet Heather is dead but you want to fixate on the fact that she smoked, wears black and was overweight? I consider this thought process willful ignorance to the extreme. To debate for the sake of taking a side not for truth.

There are videos of the incident, all over the internet, show me where Heather was hit?

Show me the doctor’s report on cause of death.

So, then please tell me... just what are you insinuating with your black shirt, hot day, overweight smoking comments? You say there is no video which provides the logical assumption that you need proof that it happened because (drumroll please) you believe that maybe it did not happen. Otherwise, what is your point?

IDK, those ballet flats could be construed as sensible footwear, and who KNOWs what that means

Willful ignorance to the tenth degree. It's chilling that so many people "think" the same way. I know that facts don't win debates so I will let you have the last word with this one. Peace and love and rest to Heather Heyer's soul for the fight against pure hate and ignorance. A champion for the fight against evil.

Hmmmm who to believe as to the cause of Heather Heyer's death. The coroner, who is a medical professional or white supremacist websites? The witnesses that were there? Conspiracy theory websites?
Hmmmmm. What to do? What to do? It's a real pickle to decide.

I'm picking the white supremacist and conspiracy theory sites because despite the fact that many of them said they're glad she's dead, they're only interested in the truth rather than the media that is completely biased against them.

Hold it. I know what you're all thinking. CW4D, you're a kook. Why would you believe those sights? Well you can think I'm a kook. But don't post it. Plus I'll show you why. I got a new hat yesterday. And ever since then all kinds of theories have opened up. Here's me with my new hat

I've got it covered, they're the kind that lace and are overly complicated for no good reason. Between that and my balance issues, any car could hit me.

lol... you better be very careful, you are definitely asking for it, what about those leggings?

I want these... saw them on FB and I am hooked... no one would hit me in a car if I was wearing these with my black shirt...

I said there are videos, show me where you can see she got hit by the car. I have seen the videos of that day and I didn’t see her get hit. As for the overweight, hot day, dressed in black, smoking, can dehydrate a person, add in excitement, stress and you can lose consciousness fast. Bring on a heart attack.

Regardless of what the media has shown, or not shown the man driving the car was arrested and charged. While I don't trust the media, I think in this case it is OK to trust that police know what happened and acted accordingly. They say he killed her with his car.

Can’t find the doctor’s report? Funny how you have to attack when you can’t find the facts.

YOU made the assertion contrary to the evidence. Therefore it is YOUR job to find the report that shows she died of a heart attack and wasn't hit.

When YOU assert an affirmative (ie she died of a heart attack and everyone lied) YOU are the one that has to provide the logical and evidentiary proof. You haven't provided any of such.

He did hit other people, so yes the police have that. Was he charged with vehicle homicide?
