Disney's ART OF ANIMATION RESORT Information & Questions

Are paper towels replaced when low similar to toilet paper? I know this sounds like a ridiculous question, but I'm either packing a roll or not at this point lol since we make our own meals and we have 5 kids ;) we will need a few each day for sure! Thanks
PS I'm totally already having anxious Disney trip dreams, like that I've forgotten multiple things etc. so this was my question I HAD to ask today!:rotfl2:

Was it close the the elevator and how was the noise from it?

If I recall correctly, we were a few doors away from the elevator. We noticed no noise from it, but I'm sure that all depends on who happens to be visiting at the same time. Maybe we lucked out and had quiet neighbors.

Does anyone know of any rooms that are in the Nemo section that are quiet? I would imagine all pools side rooms are pretty noisy.

We were in Room 5518 last year. We thought it was a great location. It's on the first floor but in the hallway that juts out towards the Lion King area. We had a lake view. It was a very quiet location because the only people that walk down that hallway are those who have rooms in that hall. There is no "pass-through" traffic or people just walking by to get to the elevators. And even though we were only 2 doors away from the elevators, we didn't notice any noise from them. The room was close to the pool, food court, and bus stops. If we stay in a Nemo room again, I would absolutely request a room on this hallway again. Just a note: I made sure to request a room that faces the lake on that hallway because the rooms on the other side of that hall face the grassy area where they show the movies at night. I wasn't sure if that would be a noise problem or not (and after looking at the set-up while we were there, I don't think it would) but I didn't want to chance it.

I seem to remember that there was an extra roll of paper towels under the sink. If not, I'm sure they would bring you an extra roll if you just call housekeeping and ask for one (or leave a note in the morning).

True enough! Thanks for indulging my crazy question :) Much appreciated

Planning for an early December 2018 trip and my 2 girls want to stay here. They are tired of the boring hotels ( Contemporary and Jambo House) haha. Right now my parents are planning on coming, so I am trying to decide if we should get 2 little mermaid rooms or one suite. It will be 4 adults and two kids 7 and 5 years old.

If check in is at 3pm but you arrive in the morning, will they let you participate in any resort activities as well as activate the dining plan while you wait for your room?

Thanks!

Yes! You are welcome to use all hotel amenities and dining plan as soon as you arrive! They will store your bags if your room isn't ready early. Have fun!
