Whilst a very popular cruise a number of us booking, there should be good availability next week.

This cruise will be incredible for young children, we have done it before and Iceland is breathtaking. Do have a pre stay in London as well.

Our cruise meets will discuss the brilliant places to visit in our ports of call, so do join us.

I was originally thinking verandah, but after some input and the estimated per person costs, I am leaning towards ocean view. But will price it all out!

A verandah is nice, however, the weather will be " cool" , the benefits are going up and down fjords in Norway and Iceland Akureyri, however viewpoints on the open decks 9 and 4 will do just as nice. Yes the cost would be high Vs use. Cruises to Alaska, Panama, Mediterranean with sea days a verandah is very useful, also in hot sun on a busy ship.

This cruise it will be limited, nice, but limited.

Our TA is booking us (2 adults) Monday! I am so very psyched for this cruise!!!! I have wanted to do Iceland for a long time and Orkney and the other ports are langiappe

DD is graduating from high school in May so this will be a wonderful trip for DH and I to relax and be adults. I can't wait.

For those that are bringing children, what age do you suggest this cruise would be appropriate for? We’ve only sailed the carribean on the Fantasy and my DS will be 9 next summer. I’m wondering how his experience will be different on board. Will there be a lot of kids?

My girls will be 18, 17 and 14. We did the 7 night Northern European cruise when they were 14, 13, and 10. My 10 year old made lots of friends that cruise.

I have sailed this cruise and cruises in Northern Europe with younger children, now grown up. It's very educational, they love it, not just historical sites like St Petersburg, but the force of nature, waterfalls, geysers, learning with interest even teenagers get engaged! And forget wifi for an hour.

With sea days children can relax see films have kids clubs, better than port intensive cruises.

Sending my travel agent a request now. We are silver and can book on Wednesday. Verandah or no Verandah?? I'm so torn. We have had a verandah on every cruise we have been on in the past. But this cruise is going to be so expensive and I'm wondering if it will be worth it??? Maybe an ocean view will be just as good and we can stay warm???

I’m having the same debate. I am leaning towards Oceanview but am having our TA price out a verandah too for comparison. We’ve got little ones, one of whom naps, so sometimes that balcony can be a good nap time escape. But not sure the price difference is worth it!

I know what you mean about the price difference. We don't have little ones so the only ones napping will be me and my husband LOL. I think I would rather save the money and put that towards flights and excursions.

Trying to convince DH on this. Can't book until Wednesday. Looks like an amazing cruise.

We did go to Kirkwall on our British Isles cruise. Beautiful port and sooooooo welcoming to us.

Are you on the "other site" which can't be linked to? Someone there posted a price. I think it was $12K for 2A2K in a 9C with their OBB discount.
