I have tried some pretty crazy stuff (chocolate covered insects) I don't really want to eat any more insects. @Kathryn Merteuil you do know that oyster crackers are just saltines in a small round shape? You can feed these to babies or old people and they can handle it.

There's absolutely nothing that I won't try at least once. DS is the same. If there's anything on the menu we haven't tried, that's what we order. We pick on DH & tell him he has a 2 year old's palate. He doesn't really, but he's not nearly as adventurous as DS & I are.

When I was a kid I thought there was a cute furry woodland creature called a mince that was killed to make the pie.

I finally tried it about 10 years ago. It was exceedingly sweet and I could only finish or or three bites.

You'd come unglued if you knew how many things that you consider "non food" items you've ingested in your life.
Food is merely fuel for our bodies and we're Flex Fuel engines.
If our bodies can process it, it's meant to be food.

Those are food to things that I've eaten. Is that close enough? Poultry will eat bugs. So will fish.

I've had snails (French style escargot) before, and the texture was more like clams. I was at a company party and when someone mentioned it on the menu the boss said he wanted to see who would actually eat it. We had a bunch of Europeans, and I've heard them say they could eat anything with just the right sauce on it.
