I love credit cards so much!

I’ve used it to pay for any expense. I’ve never had Chase question anything.
Perfect. thanks. I will leave it as a card DH can use for his business expenses after, but that $5k min spend is not something i an do with out paying for a portion of the trip.

Wow, I'm back with another question about the CSP authorized user bonus. I know it says add an AU and make one purchase within 3 months to get it, but I always kind of assumed they wanted you to make one purchase with the AU card even though they didn't say it. I ordered the card last week but haven't made any purchases since the order (last one was posted a couple days before), however, I have 5000 points pending that aren't accounted for anywhere. So is that it? They pay you to get a card that never gets used?
I had 5,000 points and the card was still sitting in my mailbox. I think I used it to buy something just to cross t’s and dot i’s :)

We ended up starting with the CIP and DH has that card. He was able to get approved in about a day and we have been using it for everything! I just used it to get a softball glove lol

For your company softball game! ;)

Do you guys use your CIP topay for anything or stick to business related things only. When DH CIP comes in i was thinking of paying our Disney trip with it.

For your company team-building retreat! :thumbsup2

Does anyone else here have the AR? As a dp on the US Bank Altitude Reserve DoC doubled dipped the travel credit, was offered 10,000 points with no spend to keep it open but still decided close. (10,000 points = $100) The 10,000 no spend seems to be being offered consistently. (Side note: didn’t realize you need $50 in points to cash out the points, AR point redemption is such a pita if you don’t exactly what you’re doing.) I’m not up for renewal until Jan of next year but if this offer is still around I’ll take it because they’re paying me $25 to keep the card (although just cashing out my 2nd travel credit in Jan and closing is tempting) and it gives me an alternative if Chase takes away my CSR (I would literally cry though!) https://www.doctorofcredit.com/my-us-bank-altitude-retention-closure-call/

pixiedust: 1,500 PAGES!!! pixiedust:

We were *just* at 1,000 pages a little over two months ago!

hehe, maybe this chat should go live instead now. lol

Any credit cards offering quarterly promotion cashback rewards on utilities? (I seem to remember selected Chase Disney Visa cardholders got 4% on utilities for one quarter last year.)
Anyway, My homeowner's premium is due soon and couple others. I want to get the most cashback I can for these larger bills. (I remember insurance was listed under the Disney Visa offer last year. )

TIA.

other way around is to buy VGC @ 5x earning(ie CIC) and using those cards on utilities. its like 3x at the end after fees.

I think I messed up...... A few months ago I transferred ~5k UR from dh CIP to my CIP, trying to keep all earnings together on our highest card. He now has the CSR so I want to transfer the combined points from my CIP to his CSR but it's not allowing me to do it, stating, "This card is not eligible to receive points from you at this time." I tried last night and again this morning. I think it might be because of the combined points. Its over 100k UR so i really want it on the CSR! Any thoughts or workarounds? I would prefer not having to call Chase if it can be avoided.

Try moving back to his CIP and then from there to his CSR. If that doesn't work delete his CIP from your list; wait 24 hours; then try to add his CSR. Don't worry - you'll be able to do it but you might have to play with it a bit.

I don't see a way to transfer just those points. The only option is to combine the full amount, unless there is another place on the site I'm not looking.

I am planning a wdw trip over Christmas break and would like to know if anyone has tips on how to find the best rates. I started with the Disney site and I booked a package as a placeholder. The last few trips, we stayed offsite and got discounted tickets from UT or park savers. But, for the busy Christmas week, I think it’s best to stay onsite. Also, in past on-site years, I always used a pin code but I don’t have one this year.

Obviously, this trip I would like to pay as much as possible with UR :cool1: and then discounted GCs if I can’t cover it all. I read the DisChurners info. If I keep the package I just booked with Disney, I see I have 30 days to transfer it to Chase. Other than searching the Chase rewards site, are there other avenues I should consider where I can still use UR?

Combining is transferring... So when you go to your CIP and click combine points what card is listed under the "move my points to" column?

No, transferring your package to Chase or using the site are the only ways to use URs for on-site bookings short of cashing them out.

So uh...r/churning drama the final saga: https://www.reddit.com/r/churning/comments/8m3hlr/referrals_bots_and_whats_next/

They've reversed their decision and things will go back to the way they were! Obviously everybody is entitled to their own opinion but this makes me happy :D Now that whole DISchurners Robin Hood thing better stay our secret :P LOL!

Woohoo... I would go back and delete those comments in the previous post, just to be safe. You never know who's going to hop on here in the future.
