You should block a few posts after your first one to input special dining and Halloween time events. Also add a link to last years info for anyone who wants to review last years Halloween time info. These are my suggestions. Thanks for posting! :)

I agree about blocking then first few post blocks for additional Halloween details.
you'll need to do it pronto before someone responds to the thread you began.

Got tickets for 9/26 and 10/31. It was a nightmare getting them on 6/5 but after about 4 hours Disney IT fixed whatever issues they’ve had.

Just purchased our tickets! 9/28! Received the confirmation email in less than 30 seconds from purchase. I was impressed.

We are going to the 10/31 party. Bought our tickets on 6/5 and dealt with the website being bogged down but made it through the process around 8:30 am. We are staying at GCH for our first time so we are over the top excited.:hmghost::maleficen We usually go the 3rd Saturday in October so this is quite a change for us.

Costume ideas :rolleyes1

JK - sort of - I need help :tongue::tongue::tongue:

Keep the weather in mind! Layers are your friend at MHP! You want an outfit that will allow you safe, comfortable movement and that won't break any of Disney's costume rules. And wear comfortable shoes! The more adaptable your outfit is to weather conditions, the easier it will be as your party date approaches. We've been to parties in pouring rain and in oppressive heat, so we usually have two costumes planned -- one for cooler and one for warmer temps. That way we can go with whichever one is more appropriate for the forecast as our MHP date gets closer.

Thanks for doing that!
I agree with the other posters about blocking the first few posts so that you can keep updating the thread with new information as it gets announced. Also, take a look at some of Sherry's old Halloween Time Superthreads to see what the first pages looked like. That will give you a good idea of what kind of information is helpful to include. Also, you might want to add the word "Official" (or something like that) to your post title so that DISers know this new thread is the main party thread now -- I added the word "Superthread."
I'm going to merge this thread with your new one.

Last year the weather was so odd in October. The Friday before I went I think it was pretty warm, plus there was that Anaheim fire happening. By the next week when I went (Friday the 13th), it was only in the 70's, and at night it was in the 50's. Had to wear a jacket the whole time. Then the week after that it got hot again..so strange.

And we had a heat wave the week leading into Halloween with 90-100 degree weather. October is very unpredictable.

Hello, I noticed someone said tickets go on sale online at 7:30am EST. Does anyone know if this is the correct time for the general admission sale tomorrow (6/12/18)?

General Public does go on sale Tuesday June 12th.
Disneyland phone lines usually open at 7am Pacific Time Zone.
The online tickets for AP went on sale at 12:00am Tuesday June 5th.
So I'd expect online to go live at midnight tonight, like last week.

It is so nice Disney announced the MHP information earlier than last year.

We bought our tickets to the September 24th party on June 5th thanks to our DVC membership - we've never done the party before and are super excited! My husband said he only had to wait on hold about 30 minutes too so that wasn't too awful!

Awesome thank you. 12am eastern correct?

Didn’t read through the issues that happened last week on the purchases, but only received an email saying being processed after placing our order. Not too worried about getting the tickets, but I am concerned that greed will set in and they sell more tickets then ever before or that they should and it’s crowded as all heck. Any thoughts on that? I’ll be pretty upset if we shell out $780 for my family and it’s a zoo on that night.

got our tickets here in the UK just after 8am uk time, site wouldn't accept payment details in Safari for some reason, ended up using chrome, but all booked
