Priceline Express Deals

I just booked POFQ with Priceline Express yesterday for $105 a night, garden view room. We have two kids and I know that a few people were able to get their reservation updated to include them through talking to someone on Priceline chat. I just wanted to say that we did not have any luck with that. I talked to them once, then Disney who was not able to add them and even sent me to their IT dept. to try. I tried again with Priceline chat with no luck. So, I called Disney back and was told to call the Disney Wholesale dept. who should be able to do it. I just called them and they added the kids with no trouble and it all updated in the My Disney Experience page, as well. Just wanted to share my experience, I guess it all depends on who you happen to talk to.

I booked the same resort for a weekend in August, also $105, with Priceline Express. I've used Express deals in the past for Dolphin a couple times (May and June) and this was the first time I saw a Disney resort. Thanks to this (thank you travelb101!), I was able to get my child added via chat with a Disney agent. I did not get the hotel confirmation in my email from Priceline (I know Disney's system was down today for a bit, so that may have something to do with it) so I contacted them via chat a few hours after I had paid, and they gave me the confirmation I needed within minutes. I was able to link that to MDE no problem. I was able to add/confirm myself and add one person to the reservation - so if you only have two people, you should be good to go at this point. I then opened chat with Disney and told them right off that I had booked through a third party and knew I probably needed the Wholesale Department to add my child onto the reservation. They had me give the confirmation number, confirm I was me, and then confirm who I was adding to the reservation. It took a few minutes, but the agent seemed to know what was up and it was all done. I was then able to order Magic Bands immediately.

Also, fwiw, I have seen the prices drop. Dolphin and Swan were in the $122+ range a week ago and dropped to around $102 since then. I see Swan for $103 and Dolphin for $110 for August 10-12.

Thanks to everyone here!!! I just made my reservations. I had to do two separate ones but got POFQ for 10 nights. I bought a 10% code from EBay(cost me $5) and used it on the first booking that I made. That one is 7 nights at $103/night less the 10%. So I saved $72 with the code. The second reservation is for my first 3 nights at $110/night. Went through Ebates for that one. It’s probably only about $3 but it all adds up in the end.

Funny, after my first reservation went through and the resort was unblind the price went up $7/night and it showed the standard room category. My other one said room assigned at check in. So to get around that price increase I used my DD’s computer to book and didn’t sign in on Priceline. I’ve got both email confirmations including the hotel reservation number.

Do I need to do anything to alter the reservation or will it automatically show two people?

Do you think I wold be safe to wait a day or two? I'm 99% sure I'm seeing POP for the first part of my trip and will book POFQ for the second part. Was kind of wanting to book today and be done.


For some reason that Better Bidding code doesn't work for me. I have tried repeatedly to sign up for the Priceline emails and it just won't take my info.

sooo....there really is no downside to booking through Priceline Express deals because it can actually be easily added to MDE and children can be added in easily (both through the chat feature). Right? Pretty tempting deals at the moment.

I know the express deals are only for 2 people on the reservation, and I know people have been able to add their kids to the reservation, but is it possible to add 2 adult children( for a total of 4 adults) to the Disney express reservation?

I didn't have any luck through the chat feature on Disney or Priceline, just call the Wholesale department with your confirmation # 1 407 939 7671 and they can add the kids. No problem at all.

No issues - we are finishing out our long weekend stay at Boardwalk Inn booked through Priceline express and it was seemless. Will be on the lookout for another opportunity to book a deluxe!

The description for this hotel read "Enjoy jazzy evening entertainment at this well-designed resort." That description, plus if you use chrome there is a hotel add on for Priceline that identified the hotel as POFQ. That was good enough for me to take a chance on that listing.

It's a 3 star in the bonnet creek are.
