Tried calling back and after being on hold for 10min it says no one is available and to leave a message?? Ummm.... ok the guy on the voicemail said 7 days a week until 5pm EST soooooo?

  • EMM: Mine Train, Peter Pan, Pooh until 8:55ish
  • At park opening: Thunder, Splash standby
  • Back to Fantasyland by 9:45 to make plates & treat this as an early brunch
  • IASW standby, since we're right there
  • Haunted FP
  • Jungle FP (will try to modify to earlier time after using previous FP)
  • Pirates FP (will try to modify to earlier time after using previous FP)
  • Fantasyland rides with whatever 4th, 5th, etc. FPs we can pull up until we're ready to take a break
Thoughts on this plan for the first half of the day?

It's looking like my son might *just* make the 40" mark this trip, so we want to get to Splash and Thunder as early as we can (supposedly you're taller earlier in the day). If he can't get on those, plan B would be to head to Pirates and Jungle instead, and switch to FP/rider swap for Splash/Thunder later in the morning.

So those of you who ended up getting party tickets how did that work? I did get through to someone and of course they offered to move around my EMM and dining reservations if needed. If that didn’t work they offered some FPs that could be on whatever day. He told me I could think about it and call back but he didn’t say anything about party tickets and I didn’t want to just ask either if it wasn’t a thing! I thought I read other received this option though?

My opinion would be to ask. It is not in my nature to do so in these type of circumstances - and I didn't on my call - but sometimes you need to let Disney know what's on your mind with any new plans you may now be considering given this schedule change.

I wasn't specifically offered tickets either, but the CM left the door open to any ideas I had about ways they could make up for the inconvenience. It was admittedly a bit of an awkward dance for a brief moment.

That being said, sometimes Disney handles different people with different solutions, so YMMV. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice! I didn’t want to come off greedy though either…. True I guess I could ask that’s just not my personality I was hoping he would just offer. Just have to get my big girl panties on and call back. Haha

I totally hear you and I am the same way. I ultimately didn't bring it up or ask for anything, I was content enough for a refund and leave it at that. But admittedly my circumstances/view may be different... we've done EMM a handful of times, I'm not on some strict park schedule and don't mind being flexible, etc. I think if I had really built my plans around something I'd probably feel differently.

Thanks for the advice! I called back and told him what I wanted and no issues. He gladly booked it but said he can’t issue the tickets so I just have to pick up at guest relations (he will email something I give to him). So yay that worked out! Thanks again!

I have no horse in this race, but I am extremely surprised that they still have 11/18 bookable for EMM.

I have the 18th booked, and I'm still shocked. I really want to do it, but it won't make or break our trip, especially if we get FP for it.

I would like to know this too. I’ve gotten the vmail that my Nov 25 EMM needs to be adjusted. I have tried many times to get ahold of them and can’t. Moving to Nov 27 isn’t an option for us.

I’m usually not too pushy about things and wouldn’t have even thought to ask for something else if not for having kept up on this thread. The CM who called offered to move us to another EMM date and when I said that wouldn’t work, he offered fastpasses. That’s when I told him I’d originally been conflicted about whether to do EMM or MVMCP in the first place and I’d like to switch to that instead. And just like that he was arranging it.

I called the number they left in the message. Then I had to leave a voicemail but I tried back like 10min later and got through. After the first guy I spoke to, I wasn’t sure what I wanted so I told him I would call back. Then the next time I called they picked up right away. It did say on the voicemail rhwybare open 9am-5pm EST so try tomorrow!

Count me in with those whose Nov. Sunday dates were cancelled. Tuesday's EMM wasn't going to work very well with our plans so I took the 3 fastpasses for Sunday in MK. He also offered an additional fastpass for one ride, so I took FoP for another day during our trip. I'm disappointed that we can't work in EMM during this trip since I really enjoyed it last time, but the fastpasses were a decent offer.

Went to EMM this morning and have to say it was totally worth it!!!! Rode seven dwarfs mine train 7 times (most of them walk ons and some with only a handful of people), Peter Pan twice, and Pooh twice. Started taking our time at the end and got some pictures and looked around in a few shops even! Rope dropped Big Thunder, and was on the first train, rode haunted mansion and then went to breakfast(which was good). Rode Magic Carpet rides, pirates, watched the movers and shakers(forget what it’s called for sure) and was out of the park for a swim break by 11:10!!!!!

Planning for our EMM day, I booked FP for Space from 9-10, Buzz from 10-11 and Tomorrowland Speedway from 11-12. If we're feeling brave and speedy, we'll rope drop BTMRR, Splash, FP Space and make it back for breakfast (this may be overly ambitious). I wanted our FP to stay in the general area in case 7DMT goes down during EMM.

Looking for some opinions.

We have tickets for EMM on Tue Nov 20th. But, we am thinking it might be more fun to switch to MVMCP on Fri Nov 16th. For the money, it seems like the party would be better. It would only be $125 more. 2 adults, 2 teens ( 4 adults per Disney...)

For those dis experts who have done both, please give me your thoughts. Thank you in advance.

It's sort of apples and oranges... but if I had to choose between the two, it'd be MVMCP. Just more bang for the buck. Plus what better way to get in the holiday spirit (if a consideration for you).

That is a lot of time spent walking from one side of the park to the complete opposite side. I might be more inclined to hit BTMR, Splash, eat, then Space. You can always use the 15 minute buffer and hit Space up until 10:15am.

But if you stick to your plan I'd love to know how it works out for you!

Definitely the MVMCP you get a great parade, beautiful fire works which are only at the parties, and all the free cookies you can eat. Also snow on Main Street and somewhat shorter lines for rides
