Moonlight Magic Reservations-help!

Oddly, it would not accept my member ID (said that I had no reservation - I'm staying on my brother's points). Yet, I had gotten the email. Fortunately, my brother was reachable by text and he gave me his ID. I had the browsers on my phone, iPad and laptop open. Got a server error on the phone, messed up by using my ID on the iPad and finally got thru on the laptop. Get reservations for the entire family! I don't think I ever tried this hard for anything Disney, ADRs and FPs included!

Will your brother be with you? They match the ID card with the reservation of the member at checkin.
 
Never got an email, but registered online without problem except waiting. The only thing is they didn’t ask for confirmation number, so I don’t know if I was able to get in with my BWV reservation where I check out on the 19th or my cash reservation at ft wilderness for the 19-20, which I would love to cancel

Yes. He's in one treehouse villa. I'm in the other. The website allowed me to reserve for everyone in both THVs using his member ID.
 
I understand it’s a popular event and sells out fast. My frustration doesn’t lay there. My frustration is that we got through. We were able to enter our info and it didn’t recogognize our reservation. We played by the rules and were let down. I was even able to get through to MS just after 9 and spoke with someone. They couldn’t reserve it for us and said my reservation came up and I had to book online. Tried again. Same errors and eventually sold out. I’ve emailed MS to express my displeasure. I’ll get over it but right now it stings!:sad1:
 
Was MM bookable by calling member services also? I got in online on my phone while my husband was calling in.. the cast member said there was no way for Member Services to book this event on their end... had to be done online. Is that true?
 
Booking begins for all members on September 13, the link is already counting down until it opens. So if you didn't get it booked this time, we can all try again in 2 weeks.
 
Part of the issue was that our booking countdowns were all counting down according to the device time.. not Eastern time. So for the next go around, everyone might change your device temporarily to Eastern time.
 
This morning was a mess. I had it going on my phone, iPad, and a computer and still couldn’t get in. My brother also has a DVC membership and secured his tickets first within 5 minutes and then luckily got in again to snag mine for the following week.

Yes, this error should NOT have happened! It's ridiculous how bad their IT is!!!
 
Not successful.., sold out.

Waited 40 minutes to be told that October 3 is sold out. ***?

Me too! Took so long to get through and then suffered major disappointment.

I didn't get it... Oct 3rd is sold out... crying...

Do they hold extra slots back for all members on September 13?

I asked several posts back if members had a second shot on Sep 13, and someone told me no. However, I found this post from last year, so try again!

I was sold out for first signup but just got my tickets 5 minutes ago. Website was slow and had multiple errors but eventually worked. Printing crashed but I have received email confirmation. Good Luck!

I was shocked and happy that I made it in for Sept. 26th. I had planned on just a 3 day trip for MNSSHP and Food and Wine and added one more evening for this.
I go for the uncommon characters mostly so I'll be keeping an eye out on which characters are there so I can put together a plan. If I can ride Slinky Dog and get free dinner that will be a bonus.
 
It doesn’t acknowledge my hotel confirmation number and both phone numbers have had busy signals for an hour (someone said they could manually link it to my account so thought that might work?). Guessing it is a lost cause at this point . :(

After the system told me I couldn't get my reservation for 2 on October 3rd, I waited 45+ minutes for a chat and was successful. I whined about my points, my reservation and how it makes no sense not to get a reservation for the party and they contacted events and got me 2 on October 3rd!

It can't hurt to give that a try. GOOD LUCK!!!!

They should have tiered this, so the system wouldn't be overwhelmed. I am glad I reminded my Nieghbor she was able to book Oct 3 she totally forgot about registering today.
 
I think if you make the DVC reservation you should get the party reservation automatically. The way they do this is ridiculous.

I agree with this, but I'm guessing the number of DVC members and guests staying on a particular night exceeds the number that can attend the event?
