Haha - he's a Hall of Fame NBA player originally from the Congo. Pretty impressive dude all around! No idea who he is, but his laugh is funny lol

You are so not old but good for you! Age is just a number. My dh gets agitated with each birthday and I'm like...so what...another year older...big whoopty dooThat I am...and I'll own it
By the way, I'm assuming that the $25 transaction is after tax, is that correct?

In this case the Fidelity triggered the direct deposit requirement. There are banks that send money the same way as a DD so it will automatically trigger the bonus. DoC has a list for what's worked for most banks. Fidelity, and other brokerages, at least is explainable as incomeWhen I click on DoC for the latest Chase offer, it does say direct deposit is required. Not sure if you had signed up for an earlier that didn't require it. I'm thinking of doing this for the first time, but need to check business office to see if DD is easily changeable.
Yes, Disney commission is about 10% of the package price. Since this is my first booking, I'm not sure how it would break down on the separate components. I guess I'll learn more as I go. My aunt has to pay a part to the agency she is under, and then hold some for taxes (about 20% of the commission goes to those two things). My aunt is also charging these clients a 'service fee' to do all the dining and FP's.
For non-Disney trips, I think commissions can be much better. My aunt mostly does cruises and I think she makes much better on those. Disney is more stingy I think (imagine that...!).
Huh that's a good idea. It's only $4,000 in 3 months and we could easily make that work.
I have another question for you or anyone who knows about Hilton. We booked a one night stay at a Hilton before our October trip. Do the points get added after we actually stay there? If I apply and get my business card can I switch the reservation to that card to get the 12x points?

Hey YNAB friends- how do you put bank bonuses in your YNAB? I don't want to treat it as income for this month... do I just do it as an off budget account?
Figured I'd mention something of interest on r/churning - I was having a nice PM chat with one of the new mods u/andysol1983. He and I have been "reddit friends" for awhile and I knew he liked Disney but didn't know just how much.
He's the guy that shot this video after Irma:
Neat to have another Disney supporting Mod (u/duffcalifornia is big on Disney too). From what I know, neither of those guys are active here on the DIS so they don't even know we exist. Not that I'd care if they showed up on our thread here...but I don't exactly try to invite people from r/churning to join us, LOL!
Would it be tacky to give a Visa gift card as a wedding gift instead of cash? And to make it worth my while, I guess it would need to be 2 since at Kroger I can only buy up to $100 to get the fuel perks.
