You might get lucky and get warm weather, or not. When we've been there in January it's been cool to cold. During one of our late January trips, the temperature was near freezing midday with the wind chill factored in.

Okay thanks! Since we are going to bc this month it will help us see if we want to stay at yc or not. So we just need to decide which cheaper option to split with. I’m not seeing any love for Caribbean, AoA, or the cabins. Are they not good?
It's preferable to not split your stay imo. I've done a few and prefer the trips where we didn't split. I like to settle in and make the resort our home away from home.
We stayed there in July so we wanted to try a new one. I think SSR looks nice and I thought $250 seemed cheap for a studio.
We will definitely do a split stay. We actually prefer split stays. It’s easier on the budget and we love trying out new resorts.
I haven’t stayed any of the Values. We are staying at Movies over Thanksgiving, so I’ll report back. My family did love the cabins at FW. We stayed there last Oct, and it was an amazing experience. FW has a completely different vibe than any other resort. I want to do a long trip there, and plan several resort days. My kids were 14, 12 and 9 when we were there last, and all three of them loved FW.
Yeah let me know how movies goes! I think the new rooms would be fun and I like the toy story section. We’ve stayed in the rooms at pop and likes them a lot. It works really well for 2 people because you get the table and don’t have to have the second bed down.
The pool at FW is okay. It’s definitely not a deluxe pool, but we enjoyed it. My kids liked it better than the one at POR. That was by far their least favorite Disney pool.
I think after looking more Dh and I won’t stay at FW. We think it would be more fun with kids and we don’t normally cook at Disney. We wouldn’t want to rely on internal buses or rent a golf cart either.
That’s exactly how I’m feeling! Dh wants to go to Arizona instead and do some national parks but I don’t get these codes ever! Some of those deals are so good but the only new thing for us would be the arts festival which doesn’t appeal too much to me. Our code technically goes until the beginning of March and then there is a second set of dates from March to June but it’s not as good of a deal. I can’t decide!
As others have said the weather can vary widely so tough to base a decision around the pool. I love Epcot area resorts so those are probably my first choice. But I've really been loving Disney Springs lately and for a relaxing shorter trip that was less park focused, I might choose Saratoga or OKW for the ability to walk/boat to. There are so many bars/restaurants I want to try and I've never met a shop I didn't like so it would be easy for me to spend several days here -- plus there is the movie theater and bowling alley.

Haha yeah we won't make any decisions for a little while anyway. We go down to wdw Oct 23-30 so won't make any decisions until after that trip anyway. I went through and did 3 nights/4 nights and 4 nights/3 nights and the availability for resorts changed quite a bit. We could only do Saratoga Springs if we stayed for the entire week so that one is probably off of the list.I want a code!
I think Caribbean Beach still has quite a bit of construction going on so I'd research that before booking but they have announced two new restaurants that could be fun to try.
