I have zero idea what it's from. It's backdated to 10/13. I know it wasn't there two days ago because I use YNAB and it showed up when I imported stuff today. Did yours do that?
Mine was dated 10/27, the day after my statement (with no activity) cut. I don’t know for sure if it was there prior to 10/31 but I really don’t think so, I’ve been in my Amex accounts lots lately and I would have noticed a negative balance...

@gottalovepluto pulled this from t&c page. Eligible rate part is from section about earning points on stays, i'd imagine it's pretty much the same...

For reservations with a check-in date on or after November 1, 2018, booked on or after September 15, 2018, Members staying at a participating Hyatt Place hotel who have paid an Eligible Rate or redeemed a Free Night Award for the applicable night will receive complimentary breakfast the following morning when breakfast is available (which includes standard breakfast buffet (with coffee, juice, and/or milk), as well as tax and gratuity) for each registered guest in the room. Breakfast benefit (where provided) is not valid for in-room dining. Valid only at participating Hyatt Place hotels and no other Hyatt hotel or resort, M life Rewards destination, or other property. This benefit is not valid at the following non-participating Hyatt Place hotels: Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport, Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport, Hyatt Place Hyderabad/Banjera Hills, Hyatt Place Rameswaram, and Hyatt Place West London/Hayes. Some Hyatt Place hotels may offer complimentary breakfast to all guests, in which case Members will not receive any additional or substitute benefit.

An “Eligible Rate” is defined as any room rate for a participating hotel, resort, or other property that is published by Hyatt (including rates found on hyatt.com without the application of a discount code, and Hyatt’s “Standard Rate,” “Volume Account Rates,” “Senior Citizen Rate,” Hyatt Privé rate, and the monetary portion of any Points + Cash Award (as defined in Appendix B)) or, for Miraval properties, published by Miraval. A portion of an Eligible Rate may reflect taxes, service charges, gratuities, and third-party charges for certain included items, and those costs may not be eligible for points. “Ineligible Rates” are all rates other than Eligible Rates and include Free Night Awards (as defined in Appendix B), complimentary nights awarded in connection with Miraval’s Authentic Circle program, rooms booked on third-party online retailers (such as Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Priceline.com, Tripadvisor.com, Inspirato.com, home-sharing sites, or any other third-party online/mobile travel portal or bookings made directly on Google.com and TripAdvisor Instant Book), traditional wholesale rates (examples include, without limitation, GOGO Worldwide Vacations, Pleasant Holidays, Tourico, and Hotelbeds), airline crew rates, airline employee rates, travel agency employee rates, media rates, Club at the Hyatt discount stays, Hyatt employee or employee family or friends-and-family discount rates, airline interrupted-trip vouchers, or contracted rooms. (A “contracted room” is a room that has been reserved pursuant to a written and executed agreement between a hotel or resort and a corporation, government agency, or individual for a negotiated room rate in exchange for an agreed upon number of rooms to be rented for an extended period of time.) Ineligible Rates also include (i) any night stayed at a Hyatt Residence Club resort pursuant to a Member’s Hyatt Residence Club ownership interest or any night stayed at a Miraval villa pursuant to a Member’s ownership interest in such villa (i.e., nights for which the Member does not pay an Eligible Rate as defined above) and (ii) any villa or residence rented (or occupied via authorization from the owner) at a Point Property except for nights where a Member rents the villa or residence directly from Hyatt through hyatt.com and pays an Eligible Rate. If you are booking through a travel agent or other third party and do not know if you are booking an Eligible Rate, please ask your travel agent or the third party about the type of booking (s)he is making for you and type of rate to be paid. Points awarded for stays at a Point Property outside the U.S. are based on local currency converted to U.S. dollars.

10/13 would have been the day after my statement cut too.

Thanks!! Couldn’t find that for life of me! Yeah, this must be what they meant by eligible rate.

At least we booked pre Sept 15. Next time I plan a fam trip I’ll be looking for other options though because they like breakfast & I like easy. Hilton is in the running as 2 of us have gold status...

We are actually sitting outside PF Chang’s right now waiting for them to open. (I may have kept DS out of school a little longer from his doctor appt so we could have lunch at his favorite restaurant.) have to re-check my offers because I didn’t see that one this morning.

To close the loop on my Uber Amex credit issues from a couple of days ago, I now see the credit for the base fare on my CSR, and my Uber Cash balance is $15 higher this morning, reflecting the addition of my Nov. Amex credits and no deduction for “lost” Oct. Amex credits. So even though the Amex credits and gift card balance are all lumped together in the app as Uber Cash, it does appear that Uber takes the Amex credits out of the Uber Cash bucket first before hitting the gift cards.

I did my DH’s app from my ipad, but assuming the phone would work similarly, under settings, connect to SW WiFi once you board. Then once you’ve been in the air for a while, use safari to go to the Southwest website. I found the credit card offers under the Rapid Rewards tab. As per my post of a few days ago, it took quite a while into the flight for the 50k offers to pop up. At first, all I was seeing was 40k offers. If you wait a while into your flight, maybe the 50k offer will just pop up right on the SW website. Good luck!

Sure enough, both the SPG Luxury and SPG Business (public) welcome offers went down to 75k Marriott points after $3k/3 months. Lower spend, but lower points.

DISchurners PSA: If you have support links up for these cards, please adjust the offer descriptions accordingly.

ETA: Support links are still showing the old 100k Marriott points offers, but with a 10/31/18 expiration date.

I'm also noticing that I can't generate a SPG Biz link from a personal SPG card.

SPG Lux lets me refer to SPG Lux or Personal.

SPG Personal does not let me cross refer within the SPG family.

SPG Biz lets me refer to SPG Biz and SPG Personal.

I'm wondering if Amex nerfed universal/family referrals.

P.P.S. From my Biz Plat, I'm still able to generate universal referrals to most of Amex's cards (including the popular Plat, Gold, BGR, BBP, all the Hiltons), but interestingly not the SPG Lux.

I'm thinking less nerfing and more technical difficulty for now. I'd expect it to be corrected in a few days (maybe week?) since I think this was the first expiring-> new offer that happened after the big universal referral rollout. But if it's not corrected maybe it's a sign for the SPG personal as they ramp it down. The SPG Lux not referring to Biz sounds the most like a glitch to me.

Well both. You can check in online, at a kiosk , or at the counter. Then you go out to the garage and pick from what’s available on the aisle for the car type you reserved.
I see! I thought you meant it was like Nationals program( reserve mid size and take whatever is on the Emerald aisle)

You can actually go straight to the car with Budget too if you have their Fast Break program. I've done that with my Costco reservations.

I'll take whatever company gives me the best deal. But palhockeymom2 makes a great point about the toll charges with Budget!

Really? How does that work? is there a place on the Costco reservation for the number?

You will need to have the Southwest App on your phone. Make sure wifi is on. When in the air you can open the app and at the top there will be some buttons. I don't remember exactly what they are, but I know one was TV and Movies, just hit one and it will take you into the real app where you should find the offers. Hope you can follow that!

That must be what my husband did on his Kindle. We actually had already signed up through the App on our phone when he used his kindle on wifi to watch tv. He noticed he only got the 40,000 offer at first, but the 50,000 offer eventually showed up on there.

I posted the issue to r/churning. OJ replied it’s working for him. I’m guessing technical issues migrating to the new, lower offers.

I finally did the amex at&t offer. Paid Monday and the charged posted Tuesday. I haven't gotten an email or the 200 credit. The charge says at&t phone and and 800 number. Is there still a chance it'll work? It doesn't say business on it so I don't know if I should contact amex after a certain amount of days if it hasn't credited, suppose it's worth a shot just don't know if they do anything about it.

I bought a Hotels.com GC from BJ's yesterday, the $100 for $84.99 sale plus 5% back on Discover. Thought I'd share my thoughts here in case it works for others...

Discover cashback can be redeemed for a Hotels.com GC, $90 cashback for a $100 GC. For buying one from BJ's, I'm paying $84.99 - $4.25 cashback = $80.74; plus I will redeem another $80.74 in my cashback to completely erase the charge. I figured it's like redeeming $84.99 in cashback for the $100 GC, which is less than the $90 I would normally redeem. I like to keep Hotels.com GCs on hand anyways.

Now if only Discover would bring back the Alamo GCs, those were great for short rentals because they were $40 GCs for $20 cashback.
