We ate at Chef Mickey's, LTT, Via Napoli, BOG, TRex, Le Cellier, Flying Fish and plenty of CS.

The best meal out of all of them as far as food quality, taste, and service was TRex. It was our first time there and all 9 of us agreed it was the best meal of the week.

I was surprised, in a good way!

Great to hear!! We haven't tried TRex yet- will have to add it to out to do list!

Goodness, been there, done that and NEVER again, it was so loud, poor service, cafeteria style food..........but this is the same at any of the "laundry's" brand............

I know there are a lot of people that don't like T-Rex. But I have to be honest, my kids LOVED it. The noise level was no more than I'd expect for a kid-focused novelty restaurant, and we all enjoyed our food. We didn't go into it expecting high level dining, and my boys were enthralled by the atmosphere - ran around getting photos with all of the dinos and checking out the different areas of the dining room. It's not for everyone, but in the same way I'd say a princess themed tea room isn't for everyone. YMMV :)

Loud? LOL Every. Single. Restaurant. at WDW has an ear-splitting volume level, doesn't matter which one it is.

Yep- we've had very loud meals at Narccoosse's, California Grill, Citrico's. Quietest meals- the ones we booked as late ADR's when the restaurant is closing.

Yuppers but IF the food was better it could have been over looked but the food is hospital quality....:crazy2:

And you are WRONG as there are plenty of places that are, calm, relaxing and enjoyable places to eat, maybe just stay away from the buffets for starters?

YMMV - I didn't find it to be any different from most of the other meals we had onsite. We don't do signature dining with the boychildren :)

That I totally understand, nor would I when we had our children, I did the TRex, Rainforest, Chef Mickey's etc with the kids they were young, and well, .....hmmm......it was an experience, now that we are empty nesters, never again!........But understand your point.....

Our Jiko meal was a zen-like level of calm (we were off in a side room). And Restaurant Marrakesh, despite having live music, was overall quiet. Without bringing a decibel meter with me, the winner for the one that "felt" the loudest was of course Be Our Guest.

I think the quietest meal of our entire trip was at Sci Fi - between the low lights, the near-silent movies, and the black and white film my boys were lulled into a zen-like state (or as much as a 10 and 8 year old boy could be zen lol). I don't think i would have cared if they served me cold pizza LOL

Well that's different but there in lies the beauty of life at Disney.
Something for everyone:cool:.

We ate at one buffet and it sucked. Chef Mickey's is awful and if I never have to go back there, I will die happy.

Yes, Jiko was quietish the last time I ate there, on a previous trip. I'd imagine V&A is also quiet. Those would be the two exceptions, other than eating right before the restaurant closes or right when it opens.

VERY much in agreement as the only redeeming quality for Chef Mickeys were the characters.....

So pleased to read your feedback re: Jiko. That's our dinner reservation our first night and I'm very much looking forward to it.
