You can generate a link from your personal Platinum -- and that's preferred since a Plat support link is worth 15k MR. You'll just need to click through the available cards to find the BBP and click to its application page. A support link from the BBP is worth only 10k MR now.

Yes, @Duck143 I applied for my personal SW card early March on a 50k bonus offer and just less than two weeks ago I SM’ed them to see if they’d match the newer 60k offer and they did.

So second part of my Hilton Honors evening fun. We're going to Vegas in Nov. I read on Points with a Crew that I can take DH's Hilton Ascend Gold status and match to Whydham Diamond Status and then take that and get Ceasars Diamond Status. It's got quite a few benefits we'd use including $100 dining and free ticket shows (not to mention free parking and no resort fees if we change resorts and stay at one of their hotels instead of Bellagio.) Has anyone successfully done this and know how long it takes? I only submitted the Whydham part so far and it says "we'll have a team look at this."

Well that was fast.....matched Hilton Gold to Wyndham Diamond last night. That status updated already this morning by 6am. Went ahead and matched it to Caesars. It says it can take up to 7 days but we'll see.

@speedyfishy I called Costco Travel for Adventures by Disney. It transferred me to the regular Adventures by Disney line (I could tell by the music before I spoke with the agent).

I inquired about the Costco promotion and the agent confirmed I would get a Costco cash card 4-6 weeks after completing my trip. The agent said the amount was based on the price of the adventure. I inquired about a trip for 2 or 3 guests:

• $7,398 ABD (2) - $550 Costco cash card
• $11,097 ABD (3) - $850 Costco cash card

The offer terms state: "This product is available to you if you do not have a current Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus within the last 24 months. This does not apply to Business Card and Employee Credit Card products."

So did you get the 40k within the last 24 months? I assume so, in which case you'd not be eligible for the 60k offer on top. If you got the 40k bonus recently you may be able to ask them for a match to the new offer, so at least you'd get the extra points but I believe you'd have to complete the extra spend also.

If you got the bonus more than 24 months ago you could cancel your card and reapply for the new offer.

I was approved for the card in February of this year and earned the bonus points within the first couple of months. I can try to contact Chase to see if they can give me the extra 20k bonus. Thanks for the input everyone!

Hmm, this is definitely food for thought Since I know we will be back next year, I plan to keep the AA (s)miles piling up lol. Maybe spending a bit more OOP is okay...?

My dh's limited point total is thanks to Barclay and Citi He'd have the same amount as me if they had just played nice!

Can someone remind me when CSR travel credit stopped counting for points? It's only 600 but they clawed back after I cancelled wdw so I could rebook. Not worth the argument really since I pcd to CSP but I'm curious.

I've had to call them before but I do still have the card. My disney meals got charged and I earned 1x on them. When we went had them credit the card used for reservation and used my disney gc to pay instead. Well the refund took away 3x and not 1x. they did fix it but it was a pain.

So if you go the MC route on Plastique you don't have to change the name of your mortgage company? My mortgage is through First Bank and for the life of me, I couldn't come up with an alternative "name" to get that one to go through so I kinda gave up on meeting some MSR's using Plastique. Seemed like a pain and I just figured I would slow my roll. But, if I can put the mortgage through on Plastique to meet some GrAAvy train MSR's, I could get back in gear and have DH apply as player 2 on the AA cards and CIP's. The only other bill that I could put through Plastique would be Toyota and if I remember right someone else has had that go through with no problems.

Amy I thinking right? I've read the thread on Plastique over on DIS-churners and I still scratch my head over over it. I know it can't be as difficult as I'm trying to make it.

And on a completely different note...how do I get the emoji's to show up on here? I used to know and now I can't find them.

Yes, there’s a secure message option in the drop down side bar of your account page. I just wrote that I’d noticed a new offer for 60k and it was disappointing since I’d just gotten my card and would it be possible to match the offer.

We go on the 19th. A couple weeks ago they had them in the emporium and in the shop by the tiki riom/where a aladdin and jasmine meet. Each place had a whole rack with multiples of each size. Hope they are still there! Shopping app also says they are at Star trader's...

The only other bill that I could put through Plastique would be Toyota and if I remember right someone else has had that go through with no problems.

I have also paid Toyota Financial through Plastiq with Visa cards with no issues.

Shop Parks. But it's retiring 5/31 and they are going to a combo shopping app, Shop Disney. Currently the parks one has an option to view locations of where things are in stock (including by size). I hope they have that in the new one...

The hubby ended up calling last night anyway. Way back (like 3 months ago) he had received 2 cards. He only activated 1. Of course the “authorized user” card came 1st and that’s the one he activated and used. I also realized that I somehow got him the Ascend PERSONAL card, not the BIZ card. Oy! I know he had email offers for both so darn it. Attention to detail is clearly my biggest downfall. “Good news” he got access to the Hilton rewards account and his bonus points were all in there. Bad news, they said there is no referral offers on that card right now. Oh well.

Now that makes a new question......do I start going down the AA hole? Or have him go for the Hilton BIZ now? He applied for the personal Hilton AMEX in Jan 2019.

Ok, so if he added the primary card to an online account you should now be able to generate RAF links. Unfortunately CSR's are not always 100% accurate as there should be RAF offers out there for that card. If you don't see it in the account yet, check out the link @wanderlust7 provided (I have no idea why I couldn't find that link yesterday, thanks!) and put in the primary card information. It should give you a link that will let you apply for all flavors of Hilton cards, including the Biz one, so you or he could apply for whichever you want and still get the bonus points on his account.

It took about 2 days for ours in Jan. Wyndham to Caesars was instant.

I think this is the decision I came to overnight. I’m going to stay on the train and hope wdw resorts stay on AA but use as many points as possible for this next trip.

Earn and burn! Back when I used URs to book the Disneyland hotel I didn’t upgrade to club level so I could save them for another trip now that option is gone.

Very true!! I was hoarding my URs to use for additional wdw trips and now I’m just cashing them out to cover travel, which is useful but not near as fun!

That was the best part about that app so I didn't waste time in every shop looking for something. Or finding it in a location I'd have never guessed carried it. I hope they keep those features when they merge.
