Problem with Target eGift cards...

I bought a few Disney eGCs in various amounts to get to the value I needed. I opened the first GC from the email with no issues. Now for opening the others (and even going back to the first one), I am getting an error message when I try to confirm my email -- "The email address you have entered does not match our records." I was wondering if anyone else currently having this problem, or maybe I need to contact Target...

I went back a few pages and didn't see it posted: Meijer is having their 5.00 Mperks for every 50.00 in gift cards deal until 6/22. So off to buy 500 in Disney and get 50.00 off my groceries (plus Visa rewards for grocery store purchases)

Had 10% off $40 at Rite Aid on a Chase Offer. New signs all over the gift card stand said “cash/debit only for these select cards” and nothing else. Cashier checked me out fine, maybe sign was for VGC type card or maybe the cashier really couldn’t care less? Considering the sign quality & level of author incompetence I’m certain this is a local store being weird, I’m sharing to remind people when you come across something like that just keep your mouth shut & try it anyway- it might still work

I need about $400 more in gift cards for my June 20th trip. What's the best deal out there right now? I have a Target Red Card, Kroger (but last time I forgot to use the rewards!!!), and no cards right now that I'm trying to maximize a minimum spend or extra % back for my budget.

Wanted to report that I went back to the Home Depot where I was able to use the HG gift cards yesterday and was able to buy 3 Disney $50 gift cards with my 3 $50 HG gift cards. I went through self check-out and processed the payment method as credit. It worked like a charm!

Yeah, I don’t think that would work. The only ones that will work at Home Depot for Disney are the Happy Guy gc’s. You’d have to use them for your house. Lol

The cards that work at Home Depot to buy other cards are not Home Depot cards. You need to get Happy Guy cards.

The “Happy” line of cards are much more like prepaid Visa/MC cards that only work at a few select retailers, which is rather different when compared to a traditional store gift card. As a result, you can purchase gift cards with it at places like HD, whereas you can’t do that with a gift card there.

The downside to the Happy cards happens when you want to buy something more expensive than the card is worth. The card will only authorize for it’s remaining balance, so you would have to do a split transaction.

Oh for sure! I find that BJs is better for gift cards in our area (NYC). But the Costco chocolate chip cookies are my crack so I won't be getting rid of that anytime soon. Haha.
