If money were no object

lol, no you wouldnt
Lol, yes I would! I'd love to travel the country in an RV! If I ever win the lottery that's what I'm doing :) Maybe you don't know this, but I grew up in the country. My dream is to retire to a brand new double wide on a few acres in the North Carolina mountains. But if money is no option, I'm buying a fancy-as-heck RV and travelling!

And I'm just kidding around with @kimblebee . :wave2:
Sorry, if I took your post the wrong way. As an American, I feel there are many countries equal to ours & find the "my country is better than yours" sentiment total nonsense. IMO, other countries do some things better than we do & we do some things better than they do. None of the countries are far superior to the others. If it were up to me, I'd combine what I think is the best of all of them & create a utopia. :D

where would you live ?

I could think of a million good places, but Ill pick a beach house over looking the Pacific in California (Hawaii would be incredible,as so would places all over the world, but I think after a while I would miss being on the mainland

Same as you. I continually tell DH, that when he retires, I want to sell everything and get a condo in Newport Beach. There may be a better beach location in SoCal, but we knew a guy who lived in Newport Beach and so it became my romantic notion.

I grew up on the Pacific coast of WA, and our house had a view of the water. When we moved away I wasn't sure what I missed more: mountains or water. Turns out it was the water. But I need someplace warmer. Also, I love Hawaii. I think I'd love to live there (Upcountry on Maui) for about 6 months to a year, but then return to the mainland. We'd also like to live for that same amount of time in central London.

I have a lot of dreams.

100% agree with this

Where would this lake or river be? I'm not sure there is anywhere in Canada that actually has 4 seasons. :goodvibes

We get 4 seasons. Sure, winter is the longest by far, but we do get four distinct seasons. In this fantasy I’d like to stay close to the city because we have all our doctors and specialists here and I like mine.

:scratchin What'd you say @kimblebee - ready to relocate south of the border? How bad do you really want spring and fall? ;)

You’re trying to get me more points, aren’t you LOL

Although, I grew up on the US side (Bellingham, WA), I can vouch that Vancouver has 4 seasons. They just happen to be: Cold & Wet, Spring, Summer, and Wet.
:rotfl:I totally get it. Calgary has four seasons also but three of them are winter. We actually had a wild thunder-sleet storm here on Saturday and the temperatures dropped to 3C.

Money no object? Winter in Florida or the islands, ya know Jamaica Bermuda Bahama, but upstate NY in the summer. Finger lakes, thousand islands, mountains. Winter sucks but I enjoy the beauty of it
