Has everyone seen the new Imagination Pink line? I emailed my mom and DH the jersey and told them I wanted them to buy that for me for my birthday. I've been looking at those jerseys for so long and have never really found one I liked, but I love this color!!

I saw it at Epcot the other day and I love it!! I’m waiting to get a disneyland spirit jersey though. I like the Disneyland logo better than World and I am not getting two they are so expensive lol

Wow, and the transfer of my RCCL cruise to the Loyalty Travel Agency (aka Chase) was super quick! RCCL has already notified me that the transfer is complete. And boo, on RCCL, I saw they changed their drink policy so if you are the Ultimate Drink Package, every adult needs to purchase in the room and you can’t just one adult. $950 for DH and I. Pretty sure, we would drink no where near that amount so I guess we’ll pay as we go.

So, since product changing from Freedom to

I appreciate your feedback. I think one (of several) errors I made was product changing from the CSP to the CF. I did it for the ability to earn more points in 5% categories, and we have. However, at the time I didn't think about the fact that I would lose my Ultimate Rewards account. I needed that in order to move dh's points to mine and vice versa. Once I product changed I lost that ability and needed his UR's to go into my United account, where most of our miles were sitting, to complete our airline ticket purchase.

If I removed myself as AU on the CSR, could I then apply for a CSP again, or even CSR for myself in Dec, when the Chase United falls off, opening up a 5/24 slot? If I was denied, I would still be without a UR account to move dh's points into but I could just use his United account, I suppose, until I am able to open another card.

When did you receive the bonus on the CSP...you pc’d to a CF.........you need to wait 48 months from that date to apply for a CSP or CSR

No problem. People do this all the time.

So, his MRs can be transferred to my Virgin Atlantic freq flyer acct? Because, for example URs cannot be transferred to my freq flyer accts unless I am an AU on his credit card.

Wrong. Chase now has a 48-month restriction on Sapphire bonuses. You got your CSR in 01/2018, which means you're locked out of another Sapphire bonus for 4 years after you received the bonus on your CSR, or sometime after 02/2022.

That is dh's CSR I was only added as AU, at a later date. You mean when i added myself as AU that became MY bonus, too?? Oh yeah, it's now 48 months rather than 24, anyway. I guess that leaves the CIP.

There are no dates there yet, correct? I didn't miss them?

Ohhh I wish this would happen before the 16th. We have the platinum plus passes (thanks DVC) and it would be awesome. I’m guessing that’s too early for a preview though.

No:

For example, if we each had MR accounts and I had 100 in my account and he had 180 in his, and we needed to transfer those points to say British Airways to buy 4 tickets at 70k points each, how would that work? He could transfer to his and i could transfer to mine but we'd only be able to buy one ticket from my account and two from his. Anyone run into problems with this?

Not true. For UR, DH could transfer his UR points to you if you had a CSP, CSR, or CIP.

it seems that not being an AU would be an impediment to transferring points to a spouse's mileage programs, across the board. For example, if both dh and I have accumulated points in separate MRs accounts and need to transfer them to one frequent flyer account (since the odds of having even points in both and ability to split the points as needed are slim), how would that work?

Add P2 spouse as an AU/"employee" onto P1 spouse's Amex MR-earning business card, which won't count against P1 spouse's */24 count.

It doesn't really matter in my case because I remember I am an AU on his Amex ED (opened several years ago) so no problem moving his MRs into my freq flyer accounts.

Just called Chase Travel about transferring my RCCL cruise. She said they usually request some type of payment when the cruise is transferred so they have some money on it. I said if I am transferring it then that means I have had to put a deposit down. She was going to talk to her supervisor about making an exception for the later payment (which makes total sense since my PIF date is so far out.) She said she would call me back tomorrow. I guess worst case scenario, I use a substantial portion of my stash for a free cruise.

That’s what we had to do when we transferred our NCL cruise last year. Pay in full at time of transfer even though our PIF date was far out.

If you do get the exception I would make sure they will still allow you to pay with URs down the road. We were told they could do one UR transaction and that was it. Hence paying in full at time of transfer.

Ah, great advice.

They have the DL one on the Shop Disney website that someone posted. It's right next to the WDW one. And at 64.95 I won't pay for either, but maybe there's a discount for AP/DVC/Disney Visa?

Ah, I didn't see the *AU next to the CSR. No, adding yourself as an AU to DH's CSR did not make DH's Sapphire bonus your bonus too. It did take you to 5/24, which currently disqualifies you from getting your own CSP or CSR.

So, if I managed to get myself removed from his CSR card as an AU, since my CSP (now closed) was open July 2016, I would then be eligible for another Sapphire bonus in July of 2020?

Pretty sure, we would drink no where near that amount so I guess we’ll pay as we go.

I’ve read that you can get around that by calling and explaining that the second adult in the room doesn’t drink due to allergies, personal preferences, religion, etc. I would not do this if the other person actually intends to drink (even if just occasionally by purchasing their own drinks) because it will likely be noted in the passenger file and could cause issues. I don’t drink (hardly) so if DH ever wanted the package that’s what I would plan to do and I would skip any drinks while on the ship.

For those who upgraded a SW personal card to the Priority card, does anyone know if the travel credits and upgraded boarding kicked in right away, before your new card came in the mail?

Correct, that was the exception I requested since it is a one-time use of the URs. I just don’t feel I should have to use them 5 months early. That’s ridiculous!

Hey @SouthFayetteFan, congratulations! And to think you hit 1 MILLION URs in just a year!
pixiedust::cheer2:party::cheer2:pixiedust:

Bravo! I'm glad you listened to your own advice!
AND I could have even more if I’d have known about CIPpy cup sooner!! I was hitting CIU and CIC instead (and no self-support there).

I am sad that Chase Freedom hasn’t had good p2p categories this year. My 4 Freedoms got a lot of work last year with Couch MS. I also stopped doing some Venmo MCGC MS with them after we lost Disney.
