To answer your question, yes and no. Yes, you can use the RTW and not stay in Asia. But no, you still have to go through asia. East to West or West to East ending in origination country. Only 3 stops in Europe also, so consider that if that's the focus.

You could fly into a great airport like Singapore from Europe and sleep on the plane, grab a massage and meal in lounge, then head back to the states.
Or maybe do a couple days in Singapore at a nice hotel just to hang. Or bounce to Phucket for a couple days on the beach. Just some options if you want to actually do a RTW. Because Europe-->USA going east would be brutal without a couple days somewhere to shake off the jet lag.

My Thailand trip of Phuket, Phi Phi Island, Bangkok, and Hua Hin was by far the best trip I have ever taken. We went to Bali on our honeymoon and enjoyed it but after going to Thailand I would never want to go back to Bali.

Is this a post office mailer (or e-mail)? What is the offer/MSR? And the expiration date?

It's a letter with a 9 digit mailer for 65k pts for $4 MSR within 4 months of opening, $99 AF waived 1st year, expires 10/15. Please don't say you're going to burst my bubble and say I won't be able to use it?

In my experience TopCashBack can take a while for the funds to be available, but when they are it is super easy to request a payout. Also, make sure that your purchase tracks because there have been several times that mine haven't and I've had to open a ticket.

He checked my name and social and said there were no accounts associated with me, and that it was probably an issue with my email already being used. He told me to just create a new email. I was concerned about the possibility someone used my email to sign up and he brushed it off, saying it's just an email and they don't have access to your money. umm...okay.

So I tried signing up again with multiple combinations of different emails and new usernames, but no go. Still keeps saying I have an account already. What am I doing wrong???

For those of you who’ve been able to extend Bonvoy free night certs, how long have you been able to extend them to?

I have two 35k/night certs, one expires 5/2 and the other 6/25. What do you think the odds are that I could extend them for a July trip? The chatter a few days ago on using them for DL got me to thinking I’d love to use them at DL for another July trip at the Fairfield Inn (I wasn’t getting the Residence Inn to pull up with the dates I was using). The other option would be to try to go over spring break in March, but DH can’t take off work then and flights are usually super high. TIA!

To add, there is no minimum to cash out, it's purely waiting for the funds to go from pending to available. I've had pretty good luck with them overall... I've never had anything not track, but occasionally I go through and will message them about ones that haven't gone to pending yet and are past their estimated timeframe. Typically they get pushed through within a few days then. Actually should do that today

Have you ever had a Bluebird or Target REDcard, both issued by Amex? The REDcard isn’t the same as the one issued by target that gets you 5%. It was a reloadable product similar to Serve but discontinued a few years ago.

They're testing the skyliner, running it and stopping it. It looks so cool as you drive under or by it. Bummed it's not open yet.

We stayed at CBR last week, in a room right under the skyliner - I was amazed at how quiet it is! We'll be back there in November (girls weekend for W&D races), we are so excited to try it!

I like TopCashBack and I'll agree with the other comments that it does take a while (8-12 weeks) for the cash to go from pending to available. What I really like about TCB is the ability to pick and choose which cash back (from which purchase) you want to receive, and if you want Paypal or direct deposit into a bank account. I've used it as a dd for bank bonuses in the past.

Dell sells the Switch. Dell often goes 10% back or more on the shopping portals, or price matches. The Biz Plat has a semi-annual $100 Dell credit. There’s also that Amex Offer for 10% back at Dell. You also wanted Centurion and Escape Lounge access...

We really tried to mix up our days so we were seeing a bit of everything. We felt the temples got repetitive after awhile but I loved all of the pop culture stuff. It was so much fun to immerse ourselves.

We were inside the Sega building when we played the drum game. I’m not sure if it was actually a Sega game but I’m guessing it was. Dh and I talk almost every day about going back to Japan. It’s gonna be really hard to wait until 2022

I don’t have a switch but if that game is on it I might just be buying one on Black Friday!

They have one for the Wii U which we have but it says it’s not compatible with US Wii U’s.
