**November 2019 check in ***

I just booked a mother-daughter trip for my daughter and I. It will be our first trip without the rest of the family and our first time at a Disney park when she is an adult, as she turned 21 in February. I am looking forward to introducing her to the wonders of the rum Dole whip! Her boyfriend just got diagnosed with acute leukemia recently (on his 21st birthday ) and she has been taking such good care of him but isn't taking very good care of herself, so I planned this little getaway to her happy place. We will be there November 4-8 at the Paradise Pier Hotel.
I’m glad you’re coming...but sad for the circumstances affecting your family. 💕

Yes! I also got my WOC dessert party! (First time and Great splurge but I could talk my parents into it...I am really exited...)
Booked it for our last day dec 4th...
Now I have all my dining reservations I wanted as well as 2 backups... thanksgiving dinner (goofy’s or storytellers, fantasmic (2days need to decide which) and WOC dessert party... I am so looking forward to our trip! (Just have to decide if I do a tour (Walk in walts footsteps) or not ...
and only 50 days left till take off...:cool1:

FYI if it helps anyone: We had a early breakfast at the Plaza booked for 11/19 at 7:40 am but got a phone call that they were moving the park opening back an hour and shifting all of the breakfast ADRs as well, so now its at 8:40 instead.

I know that they require a deposit for the WOC dessert party but if I end up canceling more than one day in advance will I be credited the deposit? It seems so, but I thought I'd ask here to double check because I can't tell.

Got my dessert party reservation for 11/8, woohoo!

It had said earlier that there were two shows at 9 and 10:15, but 8:15 is all that came up as a possible reservation. That’s okay, I wanted the 9 pm showing anyway, but does that mean they aren’t doing the 10:15 show after all?

Just book WOC dessert party for Nov 6!!
If I see correctly Christmas starts Nov 8. Last time we were there we saw It's a Small World in it's Christmas amazement, but couldn't get on the ride (wait time to long). This time we hope to go on it.
How is the food at Wine Country Trattoria? Seems to be the same kind of menu as Mama Melrose in Disney World which is really good.

Yes you will be credited. My email confirmation mentions a 1 day cancellation policy, less than 1 day and you forfeit your money. It’s a pay in full $84pp for the reservation.

Thanks! I did read the policy and that's what I thought, but I wanted to be 100% sure I wasn't misunderstanding, because, for a reservation for 5, that's a lot of $$ to be out if we end up deciding against the dessert party!

I also called the dining line at DL just to be sure and they confirmed, though the CM said it was a 3 day cancellation policy for WOC. That's not what the website says, but I thought I'd throw that out there to everyone.

Finally got our WOC reservation for the 19th. Now I just have to wait for Oga's. I have to say thus far the reservation process is a lot more complicated than at WDW. I'm sure it will all be worth it...
