So with the discussion of TSM love... which track does everyone prefer in WDW? I am partial to the original ONLY because the load time is so much faster HAHA. I haven't really noticed the newer cars being in much better shape for scoring more points on the third track. I did have a car off alignment once and that was a sad day... BUT they let me re-ride so it was all ok!

Does everyone know about the special bonuses in each round? You can do different things to unlock higher points earning potential!

Here's a first world problem from the hypocrite who told @wendow it's nobody's business how you spend your own money...

How do you not feel pretentious travelling well/often?

My family does not do as well financially as DH and I to begin with (life choices in most cases), so even an annual Disney trip seems excessive to them. I am looking at 9 days Hawaii, 2+ weeks WA State/Alaska and a week at Disney next year. Those are 3 bucket list trips for most people. I'm maximizing discounts and points to make it happen, but I'm still embarrassed to tell friends (let alone family!) we are looking at WA/AK next summer. It feels pretentious to talk about it, and I never want to be "that person".

I have this issue too with SIL's family. We're planning on annual trips to Disney, plus trips next year to Seattle, San Antonio, Washington DC, Atlanta (family wedding but still), and Hilton Head. They're saving up for a beach trip that they will likely take in 2021. They did go to WDW this year and are hoping to go back in 4 or 5 years.

I have mentioned to SIL that we pay for it with CC points and bank bonuses, plus cost saving methods in the stuff we pay for in cash (like discounted gift cards, etc.). I offered to help her get into it, but she wasn't interested so I just let it drop. Mostly, I deal with the travel differences by not talking about the trips too much, and by meeting her where she is on travel. Last weekend, for instance, we spent some time talking about different places in Florida where her family could go for a beach trip. When we talk about my family's trips, I keep the discussions casual and brief, and limited to one trip at a time. There are plenty of other people I can talk about travel with in detail.

Having a tough time booking my train tickets in Italy. Because we are travelling the day before Easter, tickets are three times the normal price. Can anyone confirm that I can just walk up and purchase my train tickets? Doesn't seem advantageous to purchase in advance since there is no discount. In other words, should I worry about them selling out? I am travelling from Rome to Venice.

Just got a notice from Award Wallet that AA changed our flights coming back from Aruba on January 9th. (Didn't get a notice from AA). So, I go to look at the change...

Originally leaving Aruba at 5:40 PM - Stop in Charlotte and arriving in MSP at 12:03 AM.
They changed it to leaving Aruba at 3:20 then stop in Charlotte for 12 hours and arriving in MSP at 9:30 the next morning.... Are you kidding me.

These were all booked with points and they didn't have many good times anyway. I called right way and got a super nice lady. She was able to change all 7 tickets leaving at 4:27 PM - stop in Miami and arriving MSP at 11:11 PM. Thank goodness - that would have been miserable. Now lets hope they are done making changes.

Here are the others. I will include the volcano for those that don't know it:

Spoiler: TSM

Barn level - If you hit the mouse on the barn, it shows the inside of the barn with mice, and then the barn flips. Hitting the fox also releases the hens (which the ride tells you).

Volcano level - If you hit the three balloons coming out the volcano 2x, it will erupt with 1000 point balloons. Then 2 meteors appear on the left and right. If you hit them until they fall to the ground (3x) 1000 point meteor clusters come out.

Plate level - If you hit both 2000 point moving plates in the same round when they pop up, a tank appears and starts throwing 5000 point plates.

Alien level - If you clear all the aliens in the enter rocket at one time, the rocket takes off and reveals a robot. The robot opens it mouth and you can earn multiples of 100, 500, 1000, and 2000 points.

Woody/Jessie level - If you clear the whole screen, you get 1000 and 2000 point targets covering the whole screen!

On our HHN trip last month when we did Gringotts at USO, we had no audio It was so weird!

The barn, volcano, and alien are easy to do solo. The other two are possible, but easier to achieve with the help of another player. My sister always says she "failed me" when she misses the plate one. I reassure her it is ok

It's always been my experience in Italy that train tickets go up in price as seats sell and the closer you get to the date. I would purchase in advance personally, but then I'd also be afraid they would sell out (even though I have no personal experience)

Our Mickey heads turned purple in Aug and the CM was all "Welcome Home" lol. But my mom wouldn't have a clue what that meant. So, not too worried about that. I WON'T be carrying my dvc backpack around the park, like I did in Aug. I had a CM in Epcot go out of his way to yell "Welcome Home! Thank you for being DVC" I think what I am most worried about is the MVMCP. We are going with my mom and stepdad. DVC can enter at 2pm,rather than 4pm. SO, how do I do that and get around them hearing/seeing anything??

We went to MNSSHP and I don't remember it being a big deal. We flashed our blue card and walked in. Maybe just walk in front of them? Hope it goes okay!!

Back in High School I briefly had a Tshirt business because...why not? I always had some sort of scheme going to make money off of people. At any rate; my mom was the labor for my biz. Can’t beat free - she ironed for hours for me. She must love me!

Hmm.. so you know your audience, right? I have a close friend who is suffering financially and whenever I talk about trips, I see that she feels bad. So, I don't talk about it around her anymore. Other people make comments like "I wish I could afford your trips", yet they could if they made better financial choices. It's not my fault that you have a $2,000 Louis Vuitton purse but can't afford to fly to Florida...

Bottom line is, we all have choices in life. I shouldn't feel guilty because I made the choice to make travel a priority and I won't be ashamed of my choice. If you don't like it, tough. I don't mean to sound flippant but we only have ONE life. When your time is up, it's up. It's up to us to make it COUNT. I won't take ownership of someone else's hurt feelings because I am CHOOSING to prioritize travel.

I always say you can have ANYTHING you want but you can’t have EVERYTHING you want. People definitely don’t understand “choices”...
