Disney Springs favorites?

Any comments about Frontera Cocina anyone can share? Their pumpkin seed hummus looks interesting!

What does everyone order at Wine Bar George?

First time there we just did a meat and cheese tray and lots of wine.

Second time was for brunch, DH got the steak and eggs and I got the biscuits and gravy and we shared a side of bacon, and lots of wine.

Last night we split the steak (it comes over potatoes and a vegetable which was asparagus for us) and the mac and cheese bites, and lots of wine. George was there again last night and poured one of my husband's glasses and explained the age of the vines and such to us.

Everything we have had has been delicious.

We liked boathouse when we went, but have not been back.

We are having Morimoto tonight, which we have liked in the past.

Did not enjoy our food at Homecomin', but lots of people like it.

Man not a whole lot of consensus.

I will be a single guy there on Super Bowl Sunday. I love a good meal, but think I might feel out of place alone at a table in a fancier place.
Any suggestions? Looking for more than bar food.....

We are not really table service people. Last time we were at DS we wandered for a bit until my husband decided on the Polite Pig. It was really good. I enjoyed the food, we sat outside and were able to people watch and enjoy some adult beverages with our food. He of course wants to head back next trip.

Raglan Road, Polite Pig, Wolfgang Puck Express (? the one over by Earl of Sandwich and the Christmas store).

For quick service? Earl of Sandwich
TS: Boathouse hands down!

I have never been to Boathouse. What is your go to food there?
I love Morimoto. I always get the pork belly bao buns. I have not found anything as good where I live. For casual, I like Blaze pizza and EOS.

I've always wanted to try Morimoto too. I think it had some negative reviews when it first opened???
Well, at the Boathouse,we don't usually order sea food, LOL! We have the steaks, which are fabulous. I can't remember what the sides were but they were great too:) The service was excellent too. We weren't brave enough to order their signature dessert, the Baked Alaska. It is HUGE, but looks good too. We will have to try MOrimoto sometime too.

I think I said "too" too many times, LOL!!!!

I think food likes are very subjective. I live in the midwest and I can throw a rock and get great steak pretty much anywhere here. When I travel, I like to eat things that I can not get here. So I love Morimotos, the food is really good, and I can not get good Japanese here. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for them. I chalk that up to it being different then what people usually eat. That is probably why so many people like Homecomin', it's more American food. I like to go out of the box and try new things. Morocco has some of my favorite food.

We live in the Midwest too, Mn. We don't have very many great restaurants in our area - it's too remote. The closest "nice" restaurants are a 2 1/2 hour to 3 hour drive:)
Does Morimoto have the usual Japanese fare? Or is it all exotic? My husband does not like to venture outside of his safe zone with food and only orders what he has had before. I like to try some new things, but not too exotic. BTW, we tried Homecomin and are probably the only ones who did not like the food! I would like to try Tangeriene café but dont' think my husband will be too willing. Anyway, like you say, food likes are very subjective.

Morimoto has a pan-Asian menu with influences from all across the continent. The food is spectacular. If you’re looking for more typical Japanese fare, give Tokyo Dining or Teppan Edo, both in the Japan pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase, a try.
