Jaleo is great. So is Boathouse. Splitsville also has surprisingly good food for a bowling alley.
What does everyone order at Wine Bar George?
The meatballs with polenta was out of this world! What does everyone order at Wine Bar George?
For quick service? Earl of Sandwich
TS: Boathouse hands down!
I've always wanted to try Morimoto too. I think it had some negative reviews when it first opened???I have never been to Boathouse. What is your go to food there?
I love Morimoto. I always get the pork belly bao buns. I have not found anything as good where I live. For casual, I like Blaze pizza and EOS.

Well, at the Boathouse,we don't usually order sea food, LOL! We have the steaks, which are fabulous. I can't remember what the sides were but they were great too The service was excellent too. We weren't brave enough to order their signature dessert, the Baked Alaska. It is HUGE, but looks good too. We will have to try MOrimoto sometime too.
I think I said "too" too many times, LOL!!!!
We live in the Midwest too, Mn. We don't have very many great restaurants in our area - it's too remote. The closest "nice" restaurants are a 2 1/2 hour to 3 hour driveI think food likes are very subjective. I live in the midwest and I can throw a rock and get great steak pretty much anywhere here. When I travel, I like to eat things that I can not get here. So I love Morimotos, the food is really good, and I can not get good Japanese here. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for them. I chalk that up to it being different then what people usually eat. That is probably why so many people like Homecomin', it's more American food. I like to go out of the box and try new things. Morocco has some of my favorite food.
Morimoto has a pan-Asian menu with influences from all across the continent. The food is spectacular. If you’re looking for more typical Japanese fare, give Tokyo Dining or Teppan Edo, both in the Japan pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase, a try.We live in the Midwest too, Mn. Does Morimoto have the usual Japanese fare? Or is it all exotic? My husband does not like to venture outside of his safe zone with food and only orders what he has had before. I like to try some new things, but not too exotic. BTW, we tried Homecomin and are probably the only ones who did not like the food! I would like to try Tangeriene café but dont' think my husband will be too willing. Anyway, like you say, food likes are very subjective.
