The WDW resorts that were open after WDW are now all closing Friday. I absolutely believe that the parks will reopen. eventually. All North American Disney Stores are closing as of tomorrow. Again I believe they will reopen eventually.

It will definitely reopen, I just don't think we will see "normal" operations for 2 months, at least. Even then, I hope they make changes like logical crowd limits, improved hand washing stations, etc. Maybe they will have those hand scrubbers like on their ships in the kids areas? lol

I read this survey to mean ‘Reopen On 4/1/20 ‘ so nope - don’t believe that’ll happen but yes, eventually it will - maybe June?

FWIW, a friend of mine talked to a Universal security guard who said Universal would be closed for at least 8 weeks.

When I hear similar from a WDW bus driver, I'll know it's official, lol.

PEOPLE ON THIS THREAD AND ELSEWHERE. Take a deep breath. This is not the end of civilization. China is already on the mend after its 90 day run. Those saying the greatest threat is the stress on the health care system are 100% correct, but even then it will run its course. We will build immunity. A vaccine will be released. Society will return to normal. We will be a more cautious and hopefully thoughtful society(probably a no on this one). But normalcy will return. If you really think Disney will never open again, take a social media break, go for a walk if possible, read a book, take a deep breath, and stop buying toilet paper.

I don’t think any cast members (including bus drivers!) know at this stage. My sister talks to her friends from Disney (most of whom are coordinators or leaders) and they are still very much in the dark.

They will reopen, but not in 2 weeks. CDC recommending 8 weeks, they could extend it. Just have to ride it out.

Our world is on a Netflix and Chill mode. We will get back to normal, but it will be a while.

As in you don't think it will ever reopen? Of course it will...this is not the end of the world. Holy cow the mania is insane right now. Please don't believe every comment you see... yes all big businesses will reopen. Unfortunately, because of the shutdowns many small businesses will not survive.

No matter how bad it gets, if we get a reliable vaccine the world will get back to normal. If we do not get a reliable vaccine, we need to hope that the virus mutates into something less dangerous.

The simulations say that if China relaxes its policies, then the virus will spread once again just as fast as before. Every virus always has a patient zero. It only takes one instance to spread it all over again. A vaccine will be developed and distributed at some point, but there is no scientific basis to believe China's problem has passed.

I highly doubt that they will reopen the parks April 1st. This is going to go on much longer than that. Our trip isn’t until the end of August and I’m not even feeling confident about that. Even if they would reopen by that time I’m not too sure I’d be comfortable still going. Especially flying.

It probably won't reopen in my lifetime but then again I am 66 with a lung disease!!! (jk)
