When you had two people trying did you have different mde accounts or the same?..
Its been a debate with us.. last March we did not get s BP so we are worried.
We had the best luck with just one person (the fastest) on the app (we were on the same account) the only time more than one of us was on there we had an error message and had to refresh

Tried exactly at 2pm today took only a few seconds and was BG 74.

it looks like they only got to 59 today, one of the workers told me they did 90+ yesterday and thought 74 was a pretty good chance. Pretty heart broken as it might be years before I go back.

what the heck happened. Why did it run out so fast and why didn't they get past 59?

Unpopular opinion: They should've kept with the post-opening idea to make this attraction standby only. Let people who want to spend their entire day waiting in line (socially distanced) do so, would also weed out guests who have ridden before and give new riders more of a chance. The 20 second allocation of BGs doesn't actually seem that fair.

I agree with this. I was done with the park by 3pm today because the lines were so short. I would have been fine waiting a few hours to be able to go on this instead of risking getting into a good BG. Now it may be years before I go back. I don’t have an annual pass and I’m not going to pay for another day without even a guarantee that I will be able to ride the one ride I haven’t done.

I was watching and it was reported as down several times yesterday. We got BG 68 at 2 and recieved our "we're not going to get to you today" message about 6:40 on our way to Cali Grill.

We drove in at 9:17 yesterday (after having to circle around once), parked, went through security, and stood in line at MMRR by 9:30 ish. Everyone in line stood with their phones ready to go. I used only my phone and shakily got through at 10 (BG 24), as my sons yelled “Hurry ! Hurry!” ( no pressure). It took forever to get called back. Our queue was stuck at 75 minutes to go for about 45 minutes. Then we got called at 1:00. When we ran to the line, it broke down and we got told to come back whenever. We finally rode it at 3:00. I think it had a rough day yesterday, technical issues, so they did not get as far in the BG.

Decided to try again today. This time we drove over and arrived in the parking line around 9:10. We could see the gates this time! They opened parking about 9:12 and we were through to the lot at 9:22. Parking, temp check and security was quick. We were tapped in at 9:35. Did a little shopping and both my husband and I tried at 10 exactly. He got us in group 15! It said estimated wait 85 minutes and it keeps going down, so things are smooth so far. Fingers crossed!

I practiced at 10:00 this morning and I only got through once before it was full - it was definitely less than a minute before the boarding groups were finished. I'm hoping that as time goes on they will figure out how to let more people ride.

Update! Group 15 was called at 11:30. We went directly to the line, and pretty much kept moving the whole time. We got off at 12:10 and they were taking groups 10-20.

Does anyone know if you can use rider switch (child swap) on RoTR? If so, are both riders required to be in the boarding group?

So we came back to cool off to the Riviera while waiting for our BG to be called. The estimated return time is in 45 minutes, but the Skyliner has stopped running due to lightning and a storm. Does anybody know if they are still being flexible about letting people come back after their one hour time has expired? I don’t think we are going to make it back in time and this is our last DHS day for the trip :(.

I’d take a bus over there.

Going in a little over two weeks and I just want to make sure I’ve noted all the “tips”.

1. “Tap” into the park before 10am
2. Exit out of the MDE app fully (on my Iphone I just clear all my apps)
3. Turn off wifi
4. Enter back into app with a minute to go and go to my queues screen
5. Immediately when my phone clock goes to 10:00 select the join virtual queue
6. GO FAST

Am I missing anything? We practiced today and I got all the way to the not so fast screen but my DH was seconds behind and got the red bar saying it was already full. Any advice would be appreciated since this was the big honeymoon point for my DH.

Have someone else on another phone do a countdown for the last few seconds so you literally click “join” at 10 am sharp—worked for us every time— we got a boarding group all three days that way

Anyone in your party that has a phone should be logging into your account as well trying for a group. The more phones going the more of a chance you have.
