***Official September 2020 Thread***

We have 7 day park hopper plus tickets for our mid September trip. Last I talked to a CM, they recommended waiting until check in to get the tickets changed and get the refund of the extra. They said "we aren't sure what September will bring or when the park hopping will be possible again."
Ok, thanks. If we can do it at check in, that works.

We leave in 35 days and we have 8 day park hoppers. We haven't done anything with them yet. I planned on doing it at the resort when we got there. I hope I can at least.

I have 8 day park hopper plus tickets for 2 adults/2 children purchased from UT.com in January for $2130.88. On the Disney site I can only purchase up to 7 standard tickets for the same time period for $1952.68. At first I was going to try to get a refund but the difference is not worth the hassle. Trying to get 8 day tickets from Disney may actually end up costing more than I paid for the PH+ tickets.

Well I am certainly not happy dancing tonight. With the shortened park hours 3 of my dining reservations are now outside park hours. It makes me wonder if they will cancel all reservations again and make us start over? Forgive the snarkiness I am just frustrated.

Yeah big yikes on the reduced park hours :/ I’m now thinking I should make our Arrival Day our Epcot day since we’re really only going for F&W and then use our Friday for Volcano Bay (my yearly Summer goal of going to a water park is ALWAYS thwarted lol).

Park hopping is pretty much moot at this point. There are no longer enough park hours to make it realistic. September folks, what are you planning to do in the evening to pass the time?

Disappointed, but will still enjoy and take a slower pace. One of my dining reservations at Tiffins is for 5:30 and I believe the new park hours for AK show it closing at 5pm. Wonder if I will now have dining canceled and have to start over again. May just stay away from Signature dining and either try for a reservation after arrival or be happy with QS or Nomad Lounge.

Did rejoice when the Touring Plans e-mail came through tho!

LOL! I've toured VB a few times and it's AMAZING! I hope you get there!

Based on a meeting tonight, more than likely those current dining reservations outside new park hours WILL be cancelled at some point. Which does suck because that includes our Tiffins dinner and there's no other availability :( I just redid ours and added some and did a few for others and the reservation availability is a bit slim so I'd go make changes or backups asap!

Leaving four weeks from tomorrow (Labor day week trip) and planning to add some dinner reservations and will also check out the skyliner and Riviera which are both new for us. Other than that will have more relaxation time at the BWV and time to enjoy the boardwalk view room we're staying in. Looking forward to a relaxing time!

This is why we saved our TS for nights post-park closing. About to google the hours for mini golf and hotel pools as well. Agreed DS is going to be insane but I can deal with that at least.

Thanks! It would def be a first for us. I already went ahead and moved Epcot to Labor Day (fingers crossed our arrival flight isn’t delayed....just typing this I know it will be 😭). Now we’re debating cutting our YC stay short and moving over to Universal for our Thursday/Friday park days. Disney is really shooting themselves in the foot here if people like us who were holding on through so much for so long are now bailing or cutting our trips short 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah......truth. And things won't open/return to Disney unless people go, so they need to keep things so people want to go! I think moving over to Uni is a great idea; we went in June and had our best ever trip! If you can do a premier resort with EP do it; not that crowds are high but it's nice to walk on whatever you want whenever you want and only worrying about the VQ for Hagrids :thumbsup2

I really am curious how busy it is going to be be in early September. Arriving Sept. 6th until the 12th.
I'm arriving on the 8th. Looks like Disney is expecting very low crowds. They've cut the hours. It's going to be strange at the resorts. Everyone will be back "home" by 8PM. I bet the resorts feel really crowded every night.

I'm betting they will have issues with crowding at Disney Springs. Planning to steer clear of that area after parks close each night.

Yep, we were there 7/21-7/29 and pools were closed by 7pm. Even the quiet pools. Entertaining ourselves at night was hard.
ETA: Closed for capacity...

Any thought that they may extend the reservation system to Disney Springs?
