Ok, I just bought a purple shrug to go with the purple HM dress and put on a red belt. Other than feeling a little exposed, I think I like this better than the black. Which is very unheard of for me as black is my favorite color. Posted both.

I love both, but that red gives it a bit of pop which is nice!

Broke down and ordered the Oogie Boogie dress on Mercari. It was my size and wasn’t too outrageously priced....well it was, but I’ve seen WAY worse.

I hear ya! I just can’t... Might go to the Springs with my SiL tomorrow. Hopefully they have it. If not, I’ll just cry... Can’t wait to see the pictures!!

You’d think I’d have the patience to wait until we are down there, but I had a credit on Mercari and it was less than $40 out of pocket....so I’m not too upset at myself about it.

Tower of Terror Review

Beevie Ng I like this dress a lot but as someone who owns a lot of the dress shop dresses, I will say the fit is very off with this dress. First the featured photo is photoshopped to add the model in the back. The armhole of the dress doesn’t match the armpit. Which is what leads me to the problem with this dress. The bodice is very long and big. I need to pin/alter the top of the princess seams to make it work. The waistband has no stretch as well. Otherwise the style is very cute.

Thanks for posting this! Glad my suspicion was right and it's a weird fit - makes me feel better about not being able to buy it/try it on right now!

Unfortunately I did not make it to DS this weekend. I will be going next week to HS and possibly Epcot so I may maLe a stop by DS . I really really really want the Oogie Boogie dress...

We've been busy here "Spring Cleaning" which is done every season. I use to do it all but have been training/teaching my 17 year old (for years) how to take care of everything in his room; making the bed every morning, dirty clothes go into the laundry basket and not the floor, changing his bedding as well as cooking. This summer it's been about sorting laundry, washing and putting them away, oh there's more! He's also responsible to vacuum and dust his room! In case you don't remember, he has ADHD/ASD so it's been... hard teaching him.

We're getting ready to decorate for Halloween! Then we'll Spring clean again for Christmas etc. I'll be popping in and out, so keep posting!!!

Oh I dislike laundry. Washing and drying is ok just the folding and putting away that I dislike...
I’m super excited for Halloween. I was told I get to buy some new inflatables this year. Home Depot and Lowe’s have some awesome dragons I’ve been wanting to get . I don’t have a costume this year so I have to figure something out. I would flip between Sally and Harley Quin. I might do Raven from the Teen Titans this year. But without having trick or treaters this year, not sure where I would wear it.

My, oh, my, Sherlock has grown! He had a Vet check today and here are the results;
9 weeks & 15 pounds / 16 weeks & 30 pounds! Woof!


He no longer fits in the basement utility tub and now gets bathed in my master bathroom. I bought a rubber shower mat for stability.

Yes I think so but it was just done. I never seem to do well with those. Like Fastpass. I am so glad it is gone for now. I could never get one. I guess I’m not good at ‘gaming the system’ like other people. I mean it took me years to get a FP for FoP

Got Oogie Boogie dress in mail. I like it but not in love with it like a lot of my others. I feel kinda frumpy in it. Had Taco Bell nachos for lunch so that may be why....


It fits similarly to the red and white Minnie dress that came out when the dress shop first opened. There’s quite a bit of elastic give in the waist....really, more than I like. I turned off the lights but nothing glows yet because it’s not been exposed to light for too long
