Can anybody tell me how the refillable mugs are working right now? I read somewhere else that you show your mug, then the CM manning the beverage station fills a paper cup for you which you can pour in to your mug. Correct?
Also, can you get in to the food court just to fill your mug if you don't order any food? I am reading you can't get in without a mobile order ready for pickup.

Hello! You show them your mug and get to go to the beverage islands. Tell them what you want and they put it into a paper cup for you. You don't need to do a mobile order if all you want is a refill. Also they let us order two drinks each so that was nice!

That's great that they let you get 2 drinks each. Do you know if you could get cups of ice water as well? Usually when we would refill our mugs with soda or tea, we would also refill our water bottles.

Pretty sure you could get cups of ice water but to be honest we didn't try. I know you could get cups of hot water for tea or cocoa.

Ooh, lovely, thanks so much for the info!! I always need to start off the day with some caffeine, but I don't do coffee.

Just wondering from someone that has stayed in the rooms at Pop with three adults. How comfortable was it? Adult son invited himself on our vacation in January.

Are you asking about room size? If you spend a lot of time in the room it will feel tight if you’re there for a while. If you’re mainly using the room for sleeping you’ll probably be just fine. The rooms are not big if you’re used to a lot of extra space in your room.

2/3 of my trips to PoP over the past few years have had 3 adults and I get the murphy bed so I can sleep alone. I believe the mattress is the same as the regular bed; it isn't a sofa bed mattress. We tend to leave the bed down the whole time and we don't feel cramped but we also don't have a lot of stuff.

It’s noticeably smaller than most hotel rooms we’ve stayed at, but we find it just as comfortable as any place we’ve stayed. :)

You're correct that the mattress on the murphy bed is exactly the same as the one on the other bed. I find both to be very comfy!

The new re design of the rooms give a very spacious feel . The TV is on the wall , the lamps are on the wall and not taking up floor space, the bedside tables are really just shelves hanging from the wall , the floors are wood and not carpeted anymore The bedding is white and clean and comfortable with plenty of comfortable pillows. The combo shower and sink have sliding doors to block off sink and another sliding door with the toilet& shower. This even has updated modern closet shelving and plenty of towel racks. The shower head is deluxe and you will wish you could install this as soon as you get home! Plenty of drawer space too! Plus the window can be closed to make the room dark at night, opened with sheer set of curtains also during the day to see outside but giving you a feeling of privacy if you decide to hang out in the room. It also has a mini refrigerator enclosure that offers a table and shelving for your food supplies. The refrigerator has a glass front door so it feels modern and updated too! I think it is making it easier for daily security check to see inside the refrigerator perhaps without having to open it maybe?
Having the SkyLiner access also seems to make everybody happy to be at POP. It is a very interesting place to sit outdoors near the main building or by the pool or the Petals Bar. This past holiday weekend I am guessing POP was the most popular resort for capacity and I bet Disney is happy for the Value too!

Lol @DL1WDW2, I agree! As soon as we returned from Pop after staying in a refurbed room I replaced our shower head! It’s not a rain head like Pop but still much better than our last one!!

We’ve always found we had tons of room at Pop but we’re only 2 people (and 2 dozen stuffies!!) A couple of families I’ve helped book found it tight with 4 people but both booked again so it mustn’t have been too tight.

I forgot to mention, I always trave with a fan to circulate air. I did overhear somebody asking the front desk to deliver a fan to their room last trip.

Yes ice machine & vending machines are working at POP .
Good selection for chips& candy but no pretzels. And ice machine seems to have limited ice . I think it’s been busy with heat. Middle of night ice meets, anyone?
When I was there the end of August, I saw two people at different times filling large coolers with ice. Maybe the machines just can’t keep up.

The vending machine for snacks on my floor was almost completely empty before they refilled it. I didn’t get any drinks from vending this trip, but they were operating in July and seemed to be well stocked on this last trip, especially with bottled water.

We spent ten days immediately following hurricane Irma in a newly refurbished Pop room (first guests in our room!), three adults, lots of luggage, and some stuff my sister and BIL had with them as a result of the evacuation. We managed just fine, although we did fill up all the under bed storage on the main bed. They took the regular bed and I slept on the Murphy, and I really prefer the Murphy.

Got 5 in here right now (one under 3) it’s small but manageable. We don’t spend much time in our room
