To be honest the messaging didn't bother me that much. Being a visible minority, I get it.

But I think the low ratings have more to do with the finals airing at an atypical point of the year for the NBA. It doesn't capture our attention as much in the fall as it does in the late spring/early summer.

They have everything to do with when they're happening. Normally MLB is just getting started and NFL and NCAA football are months away from playing. Now they're up against MLB playoffs and both NCAA and NFL football in full swing.

I agree. We had to decide between the Heat/Lakers or the Rays/Astros. We went with the Rays, because that game meant more to us.

The rating were down 70 percent from game 6 last years in the USA, and keep in mind last year game 6 had one team that wasnt from US and no LeBron (he is not as loved as the media acts) we still love ya MJ (the highest ratting had 6 mll, last year highest time had 18 mil)
