Congrats! Have you started cashing out? I love seeing my CS account growing! And now that I downgraded my Vanilla Plat to a Gold have more MRs I can easily earn.
I’ve done one cash out $1875. I’ll do another one once my bonus posts. Then I’m going to apply for a business platinum in January so that will hopefully be another $1400.

If anyone looking for a new phone has ATT, they are offering "free" upgrades to everyone. Normally it's only new customers and new lines. They did a similar offer when the iPhone 7 came out. I have 4 lines I can upgraded. I was debating if I wanted to do it (using the loyalty promo). But now it seems I can trade in my 15yo's 8Plus and get $800, so that covers the 12 she wants. The ex (we are still sharing a phone plan), might upgrade, and I'm seriously thinking about it as well. My XS is basically new, but the 12 pro would only cost me $300 if I do it now. I don't think I'll get a decent offer like that again for awhile. The bummer is, we're tied into the phones until they are paid off....ATT credits your bill monthly with these promos.

I figure, my 15yos has lasted 2 years. My XS made it 1.5 year and then Apple replaced it (IHG CC covered that). So as long as the deal w/ ATT is paid off in about 2 years, it might be worth it.

I wonder if my Staples will have any. They were 100% out last week. Grrrrr.
Can you share how one can get the 12 pro for $300?

Yup @Albort just shared. I am trading in my son's iPhone 8 to get $800 off. I ordered the 12 Pro 256 GB, so it'sl
$1100. The catch is, they pay it off monthly over 30/mos. When the 7 came out the did a similar offer with a trade in on a 6. So I did it back then too. My daughter wants the 12, so trading in her 8 plus for $800, and the 12 is $800. So just the cost of tax and the $30 upgrade.

We have the unlimited plan with the military discount (thanks to my ex). So we have 5 lines of unlimited for $125! So I don't mind the extra $10 it'll cost me for the 12 pro. In fact, I'm giving my ex my XS and "to be fair" he's going to pay 1/2 of my 12 pro cost, so it'll only cost me $5/mo.

Thank you!

We don't have the unlimited plan. DH is retired military, I wonder if he would qualify for that plan.

I have what may be a stupid Hilton question. I'm aware that Tru and Home2Suites stays earn less points than other properties, is there any difference in how they are counted as nights towards status? I've got two stays planned at these properties in the next month and the double night credit would be really nice.

WelI the credit card gods might have made the decision for me when it comes to the Bonvoy vs IHG. I just logged in to try for the Bonvoy and it gives me an "application is not available at this time" error. I'll try in the morning if the offer is still there. It was rumored to be done tonight. If it's gone, it obv wasn't meant to be!

Thank you!

My ex only did 4 years (AF) and out. As long as you have discharge papers....yes. I forget what form we had to bring into ATT. But it was the discharge form. It's a great plan! Like I said, we have 5 lines and unlimited and it's only $125! And that's without the autopay discount!

In other news - just got an email for my Southwest card, offering 5x on groceries and Amazon on up to $1,500/month for Nov20 and Dec20. Looks like this is a targeted offer on a lot of co-branded cards, so keep an eye out for emails.
I was hoping to get this one too and my email finally came through. I’ll probably use the CSR for the groceries though. Nice to have an amazon bump .

Good luck!! Hope you find something. I look every once in a while to see about using the cert I got for the timeshare presentation that I did when I met you in WI Dells. Haven't found anything that works yet. I really like Wyndham Bonnet Creek, but I've only seen it on there once.
We stayed there a few times a while back. It was the first timeshare I purchased. Now that I have 2 Glacier Canyon contracts, my Bonnet Creek is in the process of getting a new home with a friend. You might also watch for Reunion Resort with your certs.

Welcome to Clearwater Beach and the Hyatt Regency! We got a sweet upgrade to a 2 bed, 2 bath gulf front! Value $3000 for 4 nights! They said not to worry about the cost of breakfast it will be comped, free valet parking and a mimosa greeting upon arrival. Globalist status definitely has its perks!

I think we are going to switch to ATT, DH is trying to fight me, but it's cheaper than Verizon. He says Verizon has better coverage.

We head down to Orlando in 2 days. It will just be a pool trip but we had highs in the 20's lately and any escape feels good. Then, a couple days ago @SouthFayetteFan mentioned something about winter SW flights and there I was looking again... I booked some flights with the idea of making changes. Last night I made my first change and then I got an email that SW changed my homebound flight which allowed me to "fix" our flight home. I now have flights and am homeless. Time to start setting my alarm for 0330 again to find those sweet timeshare trades.

we just switched from Verizon to AT&T. If you convince DH, sign up for AARP (even if you aren’t over 50, you can join). We got the $50/line activation fee waived plus a $200 visa gift card - 1 for each of the 3 lines we transferred over!

That's a great deal!
I have a question for the ATT auto pay people... There is no way to pay with credit card and get the $10 auto pay discount correct?
