New Solid Color MagicBands Available

Same here lol. I thought I was done getting new magicbands!

I talked a big game about not getting any this year. That lasted until I saw these. Lol

From where? You have a Disney resort booked? If so, and you click on "MagicBands and Cards" in MDE on the website, it should take you to the order page. Do you have a screenshot of where you are trying to access it from?

I ordered ours 2 days ago and they already shipped.

Very different than other trips. I guess because they have been purchased and you can no longer tweak them for a certain amount of time, no need to make you wait.

Nope, they are already linked since you ordered them with a resort stay. And bands are never linked to a "trip", they are linked to an individual profile. Then they work for all purposes, for all trips.

You are correct, even when solid colors were still complimentary, if you included any paid bands in your order, they were shipped shortly after payment.

Sounds like a glitch. Have you tried another browser? Incognito mode? I need to do that a lot for Disney, especially for things like this.

Also try not from the booking, but from the MagicBands and Cards dropdown menu on the website.

Yes, same thing happens. I have noticed also if i go into the dropdown menu, i am signed out.

Try clearing your cache/cookies and sign in.. I just tried on Safari and Firefox without any problem.

I see you are from the UK...do you login on the UK site?

First thing i did was clear cache etc. Yes, and it's always been fine. I definately think it is a glitch on their side.

I think it's glitchy today - can't see my bands at all right now.

If it's a glitch try again during the week and see if it clears up.

Hi there, I'm uk based too and found a way around this. If you copy the link from 'Edit Order' and change the 'www. disneyworld. co. uk' to 'disneyworld. disney. go. com' it works. So clearly a problem with the UK site.

What is "not having it"? can you not access the site at all or log in? If you can, try using the chat feature to get help or contact Disney. wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com .

Edit: if all else fails use an old magic band if you have one or when you get to the resort, ask for card. MDE on your phone will open your resort room door. Or buy one when there and have it linked to your MDE.

What link are you going to? If you just use that link it’ll default to the UK one. You need to copy the link on edit order. Paste in a new page and change the first part to that link.

Wow, I also didn't last long in the "I don't need more magic bands" camp... After everything we spend at WDW, $20 for a family of four is a small price to get the package in the mail pre-trip!
