OK, a weird question considering I've been on 6 Disney cruises... In planning our upcoming trip, I realize how many things on board we've just never done, but with our kids older now and the entertainment options reduced a bit, we might be looking at some different activities. In the past (and, I think still) there were often variety acts that would have "adult" performances, usually in addition to family performances. Often these were the same performers who had one of the "main" evening performances. I'm curious as to what this really means, especially since the definition of "adult" can vary tremendously.
Is this still basically the same "clean" nearly G-rated performances they'd do elsewhere, just with an adult-only audience? Or, are they more like PG or PG-13 or R level performances? I imagine it varies by performer, but I'd like to have a sense of what I'd be getting into for some of them.
As another question, are their performances in the smaller venues usually a lot of overlap in material with what they do on the main stage (i.e. for people who might have missed it, or just want to see the same thing again), or do they tend to have different acts there?
