Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Same here…..we actually have a picture of one another! And now that I’m reading your profile……I’m a RI native and my husband is from MA!
That is awesome. We moved to Tennessee after we retired to be closer to some of our grandchildren. Our daughters married military men, so they moved around! Love it here, just miss the fresh seafood! See you in the lounge!

Are there any vegetarians in here?

I am staying at YC and planning to make them aware when I get the call in a few days otherwise I will email, I am just wondering what to expect - mainly for apps/dinner time. I know the usual veg/cheese and crackers just wondering if they will provide anything else?

I would just call them.

For a long time I have come to the disboards club level thread to get updates on what is going on, hear how much others love club level as well as to just brighten my day reading about Disney (also love the news thread mrsap). This is my first time posting ever (so forgive me if I do it incorrectly lol). For years my family and I have gone to the Sugar Loaf Grand Floridian. Sad that it's gone but have now come to love RPC. Was there January this year and mid Aug. My daughter is starting High School this year so taking her out of school is now no longer an option. I already have booked our August trip for the first week RPC hopefully reopens in '23 but I know we need to get a Disney fix before that so we just booked a quick trip for 4 days Memorial Day Weekend at the Poly Club level. I have 2 questions. I am concerned it will be a let down from the Grand and thought I could get some feedback from people who have stayed at both. Also when we were at RPC a couple of weeks ago. A couple of the CM's said they thought they might reopen Sugar Loaf for club level while the remodel is happening in the main building. Has anyone else heard that rumor? I feel like it may just be wishful thinking but one CM told me to keep checking the website.

Hey all. I'm looking at a potential trip to BC sometime next June. I thought my family wanted to take a break in 2023 but I guess not 🙃

Before the main stay at BCV I was thinking of getting there a couple of days early to enjoy a short CL stay (2 or 3 nights). I'm leaning towards Regatta Club simply because I haven't ever stayed at YC before, plus it would be convenient to hang around the lounge and be on-site while I wait for the rest of the Disney family to arrive. Are there any notable differences between the clubs at YC and BC? Is one a lot bigger than the other? Better drink selections at one? I think all club rooms are on floor 5 and require MB scan but wasn't sure about that either. Thanks in advance :cool2:

That would be nice. Only rumor I’ve heard is it’s gone for good. I like poly better but may not be the best judge as I’m not a GF fan in general

I just spoke to Signature Services today when they called me, also staying YC club level for two nights of our October trip. They told me that for vegetarians, just like they do for folks with allergies, they can sometimes have something made back in the kitchen for the guest with the dietary restrictions if you request it. I plan to put in our requests in the mornings so that the kitchen can hopefully be told ahead of time.

Checked into YC today. We had an evening flight yesterday so we stayed at PO FQ. We got our room ready notice around noon. Our MBs didn’t work for the elevator this time so the lobby CM escorted us upstairs. The packaged afternoon snacks included Lays chips, Cheez Its, Animal Crackers (there were a few more I forgot) plus veggies & dip, chocolate chip, sugar & oatmeal raisin cookies & orange loaf bread. We had an ADR for Boathouse for dinner, but stopped in the lounge on the way out. The hot apps were short ribs with mashed potatoes, pulled pork sliders & chicken nuggets. The usual cheese, crackers, breads & veggies with dip. I didn’t notice what the cold salads were. Desserts were chocolate cupcakes, chocolate mousse cake, cannoli & another mini cake, I think something with pineapple. The ice cream freezer looked full too. I noticed the only big beverage containers they had were lemonade & iced tea. No POG juice or StormAlong Breeze. Will be interested to see the next few days.

Edit: I forgot the water now comes right from a filtered filling machine.

We stayed at BW, and I let them know when they called, but other than the plant based sausage at breakfast (which I believe is always there?), they didn’t offer any other options or accommodations. During the dinner offering, I was able to ask the chef to prepare pastas without meat (giving me a plate before they added in the protein), but on the nights when they had meat only offerings, I was out of luck for the hot plated food.
