Yeah it's pretty obnoxious, but the reports on the ground from HS are crazy. Like I said... even if the crowd is half as rabbid to see this show when we visit thanksgiving week, it's going to be a hard pass for us.

Im glad the crazy is happening right from the start. Disney will need to take action..add second show or Genie or a virtual que. It should be all sorted out before Dec!! ...right??? Super glad I have the dining package ..but trying to navigate this crowd to get in would be nuts..must be why they dont have packages to start..so they dont have to let them in first and hold the masses.

Hollywood Studios Packed With Guests Several Hours Before Fantasmic!​

So last night I tried to get a reservation for the first week of January with no luck. As many of you have experienced. I finally got through on the phone and asked the person to really check into why and when. He let me know after talking to IT and me being on hold for quite a while that the times for restaurants other than Hollywood Brown Derby were not in the system after December because they don’t know what the schedule will be yet. But now that I see the schedule has been published, maybe they will open soon.

Heard at park opening they turned guests away and saw people who got in line at 6 are waiting in theater for 8 o’clock show so hopefully around 7/730 I can sit on a curb and power nap to get in to 930

Maybe all the normal park goers wanted to do something after going to DHS for Fantasmic and getting over their heart attacks at seeing that waiting crowd.

Hopefully this doesn't continue, otherwise I can totally see Disney turning this into another 7am VQ type situation. (Not unprecedented, when FP were free it used to be you needed a FP to see World of Color.)

People keep talking about World of Color and I was so confused so I finally googled it and realized its at DL, not WDW.

Trying to catch a show next week, but no way we are going to get in line at 6 for an 8pm show and there is only one show that night. I’ll leave it up to my DD but doubtful she will wait 2 hours when she could be doing rides.

I’ll be following waits and such over the next few days I hope we see lots of reports

After seeing the long lines on You Tube, I am so glad I have the Dining Packages for December 6 and December 9.
so excited.

Do the Fantasmic dinner package guests have a separate entrance line other than that long one stretching for miles?
