I frequently buy Disney gift cards at Target for the RedCard discount. They count toward any Circle bonus.
I have a Circle bonus $20 for 4 $60 purchases, but really have no “needs” for the purchases at this time, but wondered could I purchase “Target gift cards” and have them count towards purchases??
Also, does purchasing Target gift cards get the 5% Red Card discount??
No and no.
Target gift cards are the one type of GCs that don’t count toward Circle spend bonuses. Purchases of items using Target GCs as payment do count toward your spend bonus though.

I placed my order for 2 DGC at $180 each from Sam’s Club at 5:00 pm , received my order confirmation at 5:03 and just now received the email with the links to both gift cards 5:27 pm
Do the links to the cards have all the information you need to use the cards or transfer funds to a “physical” card?
If I’m successful getting the 2 cards I want (looks like it will be tomorrow night before I can try)
was wondering how long it took to get the card. We leave early Saturday morning for Disney. Hoped to print out “cards” before we leave home.

Also, has anyone ever had success ordering more than two? Like after 24 hours it resets maybe? I think Best Buy was doing that...couldn't remember if Sam's Club did it too.

The other posters are right. I just signed in my account and even though I didnt have any in my
shopping cart they were in my past order history from last year. I clicked reorder and got both
200 cards at discount. Received confirmation email.
You all are so smart; I just went to last year's order and selected reorder and it appeared to go through and I got my confirmation. Now, just need to see if I get my cards or not. Who would have thought that would work!!!

I got the confirmation email and 5 minutes later received the cards. Yeah talk about a loophole.
I think i remember someone else did this last year. Oh well now I can cancel my alarm . lol

Got confirmation and email that cards were delivered however no cards are showing. Maybe I'll wait a few minutes and see. Anyone else able to print the cards?

Waited a few more minutes and yes the cards arrived. So if not there just wait.

Their site is notorious for having trouble sometimes accessing egiftcards. Mine rarely open with Chrome.
Try Safari or Firefox. I got my codes with Firefox.

I have an account expiring the end of this month. Husband got an account (special deal for only $15).
Hopefully I can get 2 more under him.

Same success here..."re"-ordered and received within 7 minutes. Retailmenot has 4% cash back so I went through there and paid with Chase Freedom for the 5% category bonus. RMN may or may not pay out so YMMV.

With respect to "existing customer" trickery, I vaguely recall someone posting here about Sam's Club getting wise to this and making it harder than just using a different email address. Somehow they still know it's you and will not allow the membership to process. There were some extra steps to take that can get past this, but I've forgotten the details.

I ran into this issue when I tried to be a new member again to take advantage of a discounted membership promo offer after having a prior membership lapse for over 3 months. After trying a different email and switching order of my first and middle name and still not working, I tried another email address and it worked, so I didn't think much of it until I made an online purchase and noticed that in the pre-filled billing info area, my phone number was off by a digit, so I must have accidentally typed in one digit of my phone number wrong when I tried the second time! Anyway, I went into my profile to correct my phone number and all is good. I am guessing the key to differentiating new from old customer account is not only the email, but the phone number as well, so if you are adventurous enough, trying typing one digit of your phone number wrong when creating a new account as an existing customer then go back in later to correct it. An easy fix to this loophole would be to require phone verification upon new account creation...it never did for me and they offered email as an alternative verification method when I tried to change my phone number and when I opened the account.
