"Official" 2023 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - Yuletide Joy

I see allergy friendly cookies are available. My grandson is only allergic to nuts. Things made on the same line as things with nuts don’t bother him. We don’t think the sugar cookies, gingerbread cookies, or red velvet cookie would have nuts. Would cast members know? He loves gingerbread and sugar cookies, and we would like to know which ones he can eat.
All of the cookies are individually wrapped with ingredients and allergy info listed. None of the 5 different cookies we got list nuts. :)

Did they give out a litho or print at the end of the party? We left around midnight on Friday and I didn’t see anyone giving anything out but I know similar stuff has been handed out in the past.

At MVMCP? They were giving out toy soldier ornaments as we went in, if you went to the right around Tony's.
At Jollywood, they gave out coasters as we left.

The thread is about mvmcp so I didn’t think I needed to specify which party. I got the ornament at the beginning, but also saw people leaving with large cards or lithos and I didn’t know if they got those upon exit from the party (and I missed it) or if they were carrying something else random.

There are no lithos this year. That was only last year for the 50th. Not sure what those guests were carrying out. Party maps or signature cards maybe? Though the signature cards are only postcard size.

Ah, could have been signature cards! Thanks.

I wonder if Covid screwed some plans up. Hopefully in the next year or so.
Though in 2017 they had a drone show for the holidays in springs however the three times me and/or my sister trekked down i4 it was canceled due to winds

I’m kind of confused on which QS are open and when. We’ve never been to MVMCP before. I thought a good use of the time between 6 and 7 would be to eat a QS meal but it seems like they shut down between 5 and 7 from the app? Are Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays the only ones open for regular meals during the party? Party vets - let me know when we should plan on a QS meal lol!

They shut down between sometime around 545 and 7 so you can mobile order from pecos bills or cosmic rays either before that time (when the party only special items won’t be available) or mobile order for 7 or later. They kind of force you to either eat early or use up party time to eat.

Can a get physical tickets for each of us at entry or do we need to go to guest services first? There are 6 of us and they’re all on my account.
I bought my tickets online and requested physical tickets to be mailed to me. They came very quickly.

Our party is this Thursday so no time for that, but thanks! I bought my tickets through Undercover Tourist. They came digitally and I linked them in Disney account.
When I buy them through UT, I link them in my account/MDE like you mentioned. I then use either a magic band or MagicMobile (the digital card that can go in an Apple wallet) to enter the park.

For the Halloween party, it didn’t link to our magic bands but I could pull them up on MDE in the app under tickets. Not sure how Christmas party entry works.

For those who have already attended a sold out party how crowded was the park. Thanks
Friday 11/10 was less crowded that a busy park day, but not so light that everything was a walk on. We chose not to hit too many rides so I wasn't monitoring wait times. Walking around still felt like you were dodging people right and left. You can look at MDE on party nights, especially sold out ones, to get a feel for those crowds. The cookie lines were walk up and walk out. The parade crowd was thick on Main St. The fireworks crowd around the hub felt packed to me. The stage shows slightly less so, probably because there were multiple showings. We also didn't do any meet and greets, but I saw that Mickey had a 40 min wait around 9:45.

Hmmmm not sure then. I know you have to be sure your magicband is set to active in the app. I figured if it worked for MagicMobile which is what we’ve used for party tickets that it would also work with an active magic band. Someone else might know better…

If you have the entitlement properly linked to a guest it should pull up on every magicband and card, but My Disney Experience is far from perfect. I've ordered physical party tickets and the card never gets linked to a guest, but the entitlement is there.

If everything is linked I would try my primary form of entry and just bring whatever physical card is mailed (if that option was provided), my digital confirmation (barcode/order number), or 3rd party tickets just to cover my bases. No one wants to lose party time in a GRs line.

Casey’s Corner too. And Sleepy Hollow I believe has their normal offerings ongoing in addition to party treats (not a huge selection, mind you).

Casey’s can be a zoo during party due to fireworks and two parades, but we grabbed some corndog nuggets there with no line while waiting for the first parade.
Cosmic Ray’s was quite busy with the kids’ dance party in there and cookie + cocoa during party time, but the regular lines are open too.
I didn’t venture to Pecos but that’s a quieter end of the park, at least in between parades.
