The walking dead amc #2

After all that, TWD better have an airtight explanation as to why Rick wouldn't move heaven & earth to get back to his family. Why would he let them continue to think he was dead? I'll wait, albeit skeptically.

Yeah, I'm curious to see how they handle that. My guess is that they take him somewhere very far away, like another country, so it would be impossible for him to make his way back and/or he is under constant supervision.

So Rick managed to survive being impaled on rebar, falling off a horse that is apparently not really afraid of zombies....sometimes, a gigantic explosion, falling off the bridge, floating down the river zombie, all while avoiding being bitten, to wash up on shore alone with none of the hundreds of zombies rolling down the river washing up with him to be whisked away by the magic helicopters that only he and Jadis apparently can see. All of this while bleeding out from a large hole in his side.

Screw it bring on the talking zombies.....

Is this meme supposed to indicate that TWD has jumped the shark, or that it’s now taking its inspiration from the Sharknado franchise? Because either works. :p

I felt the show jumped the shark back when Glenn hid under what's his name's body and crawled under the dumpster w/o a single zombie noticing.

The zombie herd was excellent at following Rick too. He takes off on horse off of the current path through the woods to a cabin yet they still find him?

Yup, exactly when I thought it jumped the shark too.

As I watched Rick's "Last Episode," I found myself wondering if they were going to dumpster us again, especially with the "Wake Up!" thing repeated over and over, which indicated to me he was going to escape the odds somehow, but I did not think spinoff movies. I probably should have given the $ potential...

That horse had laughably little instinct for self-preservation. Not tied to anything, free to leave, but always preferring to stand in place while a horde of zombies moved in on it.

I was really confused. The horse reared up to throw Rick onto the rebar, but then just hung around and waited for him? Then, it calmly hung out near the horde, that is until they reached the camp, then it decided to throw Rick off again and run away? OOOOkay….

And the part where the horse waited for Rick outside the abandoned house as the walkers descended upon him yet again. Maybe the horse was working for the walkers.

I was quite concerned that the horse was going t get eaten. They've already killed a couple of horses on this show (in the premiere! I almost wouldn't watch the show because of it). Frankly it's the thing I find most unbelievable about all that's happened. The zombies stink of death...ain't no horse ever ever EVER gonna stand around long enough to let a slow moving, moaning, death-stink zombie get close enough to eat it. Nope.

And frankly it's been how many years????? At what point do the zombies decay to the point of collapse? How are they even strong enough to overpower anyone? If zombies are dead and decaying then they should eventually decay into nothing.

They could be newly dead zombies. But even with that, shouldn't the horde be thinning out a bit? And why don't these communities band together and go on the road putting down all the zombies? Get some sort of control of the situation. Even on Fear...they were driving around setting out boxes of stuff to help people....why not drive around killing all the zombies?

I liked it too...UNTIL...helicopter and Jadis saved Rick.

AND (for me) the time jump to tween Judith...

I've been enjoying this season (more than last season anyway) and liked a lot of the episode, but I didn't love the time jump. I've invested in the Rick Grimes character - he seems to have been the main character even though it's an ensemble - and I didn't like that we just jump over the aftermath - especially after the buildup. How does it impact other characters and the development of the communities in the immediate aftermath? I like the social allegory piece, so I was kind of enjoying the Policy Development in the Apocalypse part with Michonne and was interested to see where it went...I haven't read the comics so maybe it makes sense if you do...

I was happy to see the guy from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be part of the cast.

I too was not thrilled with the time jump.
Rick was a main character and I wanted to see how the others coped with the loss and what impact it had on people and the communities.
I think the Judith Grimes bit was just a bit too far fetched.

And fanboys gonna fan boy...it is what it is eh...

I'm not the one that says comes in here and complains after every episode and says they will give it one more week. And then do the same thing the next week and the next week. If you don't like the direction of the show, stop watching.
