@amalone1013 No. That is all. Just.. no. ;-)
It is so beautiful right now, 61 with a light breeze and clear blue sky! Yesterday it was 85 and sticky humid when I walked home from the gym at 11am.Awww.....it would be nice to have a happy medium. It appears we've had our 2 days of spring (local joke) and summer is here as it hit 90 yesterday in my area and the humidity was so thick my lawn guy left without finishing. Hopefully he'll be back today.
And just checked the weather and we are going to have lovely 60-70ties weather today. From one extreme to the other.
Maybe it's a co-brand thing? I've had good luck with the Hilton co-brand but have yet to pick up an airline card. I can feel your frustration and I really do hope it works out for you soon.
@Lain - do you work in the fashion industry? I mean aside from your reselling? (Trying to update my spreadsheet.)
Just wanted to say...enjoy your trip to this area! We stayed at the cheaper Hyatt nearby last winter, but we had a great time visiting the Hickory Island beaches.... I really like that area of FL!Our planned trips at this time include
September 7-13 down to Fort Meyers area at the Hyatt Coconut Plantation to relax in the sun, play in the lazy river and ocean.
Maybe it's the updated privacy policy and a letter lecturing you for you full inboxMaybe I am just paranoid, but I am wondering what this letter from Chase Bank in my informed delivery is about. It says "Important information enclosed: Changes to your account"
It only has my name listed once so I am thinking it has to be something with a personal account. Hmmmm
I got a PM from another member, also having the same issue.
From what I can tell in looking at my account, there is nothing not allowed. There is zero reason for what they are saying. I have looked at the list of things that do not earn bonus miles, it's the same list that does not earn regular miles either.
April statement, spent $5845.39-$195 fee = 5650.39. Was credited 5649 miles for "eligible purchases" (this is the wording on my statement) and 150 extra miles for the Delta purchase.
May statement, spent 474.12 - 46.28 in returns = 427.84. Credited 432 miles for "eligible purchases". Those total 6081 miles in "eligible purchases, which matches myspend. I have since spent another $215. And yet last night he tells me that only $4671.17 in eligible charges have been made. This contradicts what my statements from them say.
I just don't even know what to do. I can add more spend, but for what, the same results?
just verifying..... best place to pool them would be (in order) CSR, then CSP or CIP are equal? That’s a great question! You should combine them on the CSP or CIP. In the (very unlikely) event that they stop allowing points pooling, then you’d have all your points on a card that has access to the 1.25x portal and transfer partners. (This is pure paranoia by the way - there are no legitimate rumors of them changing that, but always better to play it safe).
I am hoping so! I am wondering if it's for my savings/checking account since it says it's from "Chase Bank USA, N.A" and not something like cardmember services.Maybe it's the updated privacy policy and a letter lecturing you for you full inbox
Haha. No. I know enough about women’s clothes and fashion because I grew up with sisters, and my wife has me do her shopping because otherwise she’d pay retail for everything and put the charges on the wrong cards, whereas I’m pretty good with waiting for sales, comparing prices and watching for reductions, finding promo codes, using credit card offers and shopping portals, and usually working on a MSR on a new card she might not know about.
The key here (I think) is that when Target does their collaborations, the prices are maybe 20-40 per cent lower than what you would pay usually. So, ebayers and others go nuts trying to grab the items.
United did this to us when DD's were 4 and 8 flying from MCO to PDX. They reassigned both girls, myself, and my husband on middle seats at random throughout the plane and gave zero cares that it happened. I can handle not being with our friends that we booked with, or next to DH, but there WILL be a parent next to my little girls for a cross country flight.
It wasn't just that they did it but multiple CS reps on the phone and every agent I encountered in person was basically like 'sucks to be you!' which is why they are on my "nope not ever" list.
They will most likely never do anything and unfortunately the majority of the rest of the airlines are all just as awful. It is basically a commodity and they have no real reason to try and make things right due to limited options for air travel. American messed up my honeymoon flights but luckily I caught it ahead of time and was able to change things in the long run but they took no responsibility and actually insinuated that I was a liar. I still can't stand American however if I have miles for a flight or they are the cheapest/at the times I need I will continue to fly them.
Leaving for France/WDW tomorrow morning I wish we could use a portkey or just apparate there because I hate these 12-16 hour flights. But, it's worth it.
I plan outfits one day, gather items another day, and pack the third day. I have to do it in stages or I get overwhelmed, don't know where to start, and don't do anything at all. I have to do that with everything in life, though. The Todoist app saves me all the time.

They also tend to be lower quality. We picked up some Hunter stuff for our kiddo last year and we’re really disappointed by the quality of the boots. And we weren’t the only ones. We found lots of complaints online. Not to mention Target itself ended up delaying then canceling the women’s tall rain boots because of quality control issues.
I think yes, these collaborations are priced about 20-40% lower than the co-brand’s usual pricing, so people go gaga over them because it’s still stamped with that brand’s label and offers different styles that fans of the brand won’t otherwise find. But buying resell is a bit silly because once the eBayers mark up their items you’re paying essentially the same price as buying from the brand name’s line itself, where the quality is usually much higher.
