I did the same thing and then changed pretty much all ADRs over the course of the last several months. I don't think I have a single reservation that stayed the same. A couple of the more important ones to me I booked twice on two different days just to make sure I got one that worked for us.

This is exactly what I was thinking. We have only ever hopped the past 2 times we have been to WDW and we love the freedom. I couldn't do Disney without them, but I understand to others it's a waste of money especially in OP's case where they have their days planned and don't even need them.

Thank you all! I had no problem getting SDD on days 60+ 2 and 60 +4. I also go 7DMT on 3 different days. I got FOP on our AK morning day. I didn't even book them all yesterday morning, I just did the harder to get ones and then late last night filled in the rest.

Thank you all! I think I have a better understanding of how I should go about it. I knew to get SDD and FOP later in the trip but that was about all I knew for sure to do. This is helpful! I may do it this way too, unless I can get a couple SDMT FPs then I might change it a up a bit.
