OK so I just lurked and read your report!! it was awesome like normal

Loved ur first trip report in june and I loved the Halloween screams fireworks!!! when it was over I was sad then someone asked what does Jack have to do with haloween and Im like WHAT YOU KIDDING ME!! yea I so want to do a trip report but have a thing for boring ppl to death and half my pics didnt come out
I so want to go again I also am thinking of getting a AP I am going in feb as well as april/may haha
The kitchen sink looks yummy if you havent eaten in like a day or so lol

I love Man vs Food and I've seen the episode where he tries to eat the Kitchen Sink but I didn't realize it was in Disneyland! Now I love that show even more.

Yay for you and your mom coming to DL for Christmas! DH, DSIL, DMIL and I will all be there from Dec. 3rd until the 6th! We may see you while you are there. We'll keep a weather eye out!

Oh the tears..... oh the joy.... I loved reading your TR ( if you couldn't tell this already). I am told to tell you (from my 7yr old Georgia) that she really enjoyed the food most importantly the sausage and Mickey pancakes. She also says as she is lurking over me right now that you look very much like my friend Wess (whom she jokingly calls East ) and would love to go with you to Disneyland. She loves your pictures.

Oh Disneyland at Christmas is soooo magical. You will love it! We will (hopefully) be there in Dec for Christmas time too.

Will your upcoming trip be your first trip to Hollywood? There are lots of things you *must* see whilst there...Pink's is good, but Canter's is even better! If you're visiting the Chinese Theatre, there are "characters" there, too...last time I was out, there was Marilyn Monroe, Davy Jones & Jack Sparrow, Michael Jackson, Elvis, Darth Vader, and lots of others, too many to remember them all! (Photo opportunities galore!)

You are very brave for scheduling a trip during Candlelight Processional weekend!

This will not be my first time in Hollywood, but the last time I was there I did not get to do much. I am really looking forward to seeing things I missed and repeating the things I liked.

I have thought about the fact that my trip is going to fall on the day of the CP, but I am trying to remain optimistic that I will have a great time nonetheless, and the crowds will be manageable.

Happy birthday! And thanks, I talked to my "date" about doing that, all i heard was "We're gonna eat a kitchen sink?!" after I said we're going to get that. 22 bucks then? Might be good, I might not finish it all, but I know me, him and his friends and 2 family members will make some dents in it too.

I'm glad you came out of lurking to leave a comment. I am looking forward to seeing some pics from your recent trip.

As far as the LGMH, you can pick up paint cards at Home Depot, with a mickey head in the center of the card. That Mickey head is the paint color sample. You want to find the shade titled "Alien Green". Those are the ones you want.

What I did was I took a handful of these cards to allow room for error. I peeled the mickey head off the Paint card, as it is really a very thin piece of paper glued on top of a piece of cardboard, I then repeated the process. I wrote my DISboard username on both Mickeyheads and then glued them together back to back using a glue stick. One they dried, I had it laminated. I then cut the laminated mickey head out, leaving a border of lamination around the head, and careful to leave some plastic in between his two ears. I then took a hole punch and punched a hole in between the two ears, where the extra plastic was.

Finally I slipped a small leather work ball chain through the hole and fastened it to my lanyard. I repeated the process again for one for my backpack and one for Chris.

I hope that helps!

I'm glad you enjoyed the TR. I'm so happy that everyone enjoyed the GK food porn so much. I knew I had to bring that back as there are not a lot of good photos from GK, at least not as much as the Monte Cristo.

I wish I could go more than 1 day, but I just don't think it is going to be in the cards. No more vacation time until Jan when my time off replenishes. I would also love to pick a different time, but I have to work with a week that I have friday off, so I can use my vacation time on monday.

So I am afraid it is this or nothing...

I am just trying to stay optimistic about it. I am gonna try and convince my mother to nap on friday when we arrive, so I can go get my AP and play in the parks for a little while.

I head over to Disneyland on the 7th of November to celebrate my birthday and have just the one day in the park. I'm dragging along some gal pals and we're doing a weekend road trip. Everyone has been before, so the one day/one park will only be slightly sad. Plus I think they are shooting some of the Christmas parade stuff that day AND there are no fireworks. Even so.....DISNEYLAND!

I'm also considering an annual pass purchase after the first of the year. Just had to cancel my Disney cruise for next September, so I think a lot of visits to Disneyland may console me!


Oh, James, I saw your doppelganger around 3rd Street and Osborn while driving home from work last night....except he had dark brown hair and beard.

We decided to skip cafe Orleans this trip & now I am kicking myself! Those desserts (mousse in the mugs) were so darn cute! Did you guys get the collector NBC spoons that they were giving away?

Did you ever find out what was filming in the hub that morning? We did EE/MM that morning & saw that all that as well. I had completley forgot about that!

How about that Pumpkin Fudge? Did your friend bring you some back? We tried some & it was nice. I love pumpkin anything so I knew that I would like it!

And 1 more question for you....did you notice that during your trip the candy apple supply seemed a tad low? EVERY SINGLE TIME we went to go get one (Pooh's Corner & the candy shop on Main Street) they were out. I was beginning to wonder if they even had them to begin with?

Your GK pictures...what the heck meal IS that? Someone should tell them that asparagus and refried beans should NOT be put next to each other on a buffet. The very idea of the two things being near each other at all gives me the heebie jeebies.
