A couple of notes on PFTS.
You do see every type of dress. I will say that if you have the Wine View lounge it's more dressy then if not. I also would recommend VERY comfortable shoes. Even with reserved seating this year there's still a lot of walking and standing. It's gotten more casual, but you will still stand out in park attire. (I am not saying you shouldn't come in shorts and your Mickey T, I don't care, but I have met some people who seemed very uncomfortable when they realized that most people dressed up a little) For women if you can get away without a purse or a small cross body I would go that route. I would not recommend leaving purses, or any valuables, on your table. Disney did not background check your fellow guests!
One suggestion I got off here that worked well in the past... eat desert first. The lines for sweets are non -existent the first hour and LONG the last part of the party. If you "flip" it around you can avoid a lot of lines. If something has HUGE line, just go get something else. I don't think I have ever seen a location run out of food.
