Access to resorts

We are staying at the Dolphin on the Friday night before our Disney cruise. Is it possible to get access to the other resorts for dinner -- say, the Polynesian Luau -- without paying admission to the Magic Kingdom?

You can go to any resort without going into any park. From Dolphin, you can take a bus to MK (bus depot right outside the park) and from there a boat or monorail to Poly. If driving, you are entitled to free parking at all the resorts and parks while staying at Dolphin (they give a pass for the car window that gets you through any gates); but be aware for a number of resorts you need to be actually going to that resort for a purpose (and not just to park so you can get into a theme park) and some of the resorts such as the MK monorail resorts have 3 hour parking limits for guests not staying at the particular hotel. Cabs are also available to move you between resorts. Also be aware that from the Dolphin you can walk to BoardWalk or the Yacht/Beach Club and use any of their restaurants.

All resorts are open to guests of other resorts for dining and some other activites, ie boat rental, bike rental, etc. However, you can't use the other resorts pools.
