That malware is currently running on the Dis and hanging up the back button.

FYI

Having the same issue and it SEEMS to only be the DIS.

Are the admins aware? Have they commented on another thread?

(Using IE8)

I've noticed the same thing and it is definitely only on the Dis. I've visited lots of other sites today and I'm not having that issue anywhere else.

I've been using IE but I just opened the Dis in Chrome and I'm not noticing the issue in that window, only the IE one.

It's only on the Dis. I use IE on this computer, so I don't know if it's happening with other browsers.

I have that problem too but I'm pretty sure I had problems yest too. I thought it was my laptop.

I'm getting it, too, using IE. I just tried it in Firefox and it's OK. Please fix it, oh great admin!!!

That is usually caused when someone links to something that has it, for example in their signature. Please provide a link to the exact page where you are seeing it and we can usually find it

I'm not seeing it on a page, or at least I'm not seeing anything that seems unusual on any page. The only reason I know there's anything odd going on is because I have to hit the back button twice to go back to the previous page while I'm reading on here. If I just hit it once, I stay on whichever page I'm currently on. When I pull down the list of pages I've visited to choose one to go back to instead of just clicking back, an odd address shows up between the current page and the one before it. (I'm including spaces since I have no clue what this is and I don't want to make it clickable but it doesn't actually have spaces): http: //www. alltagcloud. info/icons/index

It seems to show up between every page I visit on here, though today I've mostly stuck to the Budget and Community boards so I don't know if it's doing it everywhere else.

Ha! It actually happened to me when I tried to use the back button from this page. I've been seeing it for the past few days on the Dining Review, Budget Board, and Community Board.

I just ran a search to find out what this was because I only see it happen on the disboards.com pages. I mostly view the Budget Board topics, but it happens in other forums as well.

I navigated from Google directly to this thread and sure enough, my Back button history shows alltagcloud.com as the last page viewed, not Google.

The code for it is embedded in the board code, not signatures. I suspect it's part of the ad banner at the top. It definitely has an impact on response time - pages take longer to load, not because of my cache or connection, but because they run through allcloudtag first before displaying the page.

I'm running IE 9 under Win 7.

This describes my observations exactly.

And I think that MineMail is on to something.

*** One more piece of info....If I look at my page history BEFORE clicking Back, I see the alltag... URL. If I look at the page history AFTER clicking Back, I see 'HTTP 500 Internal Server Error'.

It started with my laptop yesterday but now it is doing the same thing on my desk top too :headache: It is only on the DISboards and is quite annoying :furious: How do we stop it :confused3

I'm on my netbook, using Firefox, and it is not happening with this browser.

I haven't posted in a while, but this "thing" is really annoying! I'm no computer expert, but a simple drop down from the tool bar tells me this "alltagcloud.info" site is intervening every time I use the back tab while on the DIS site.

Help! What do I do? Is there something I could download to stop this? I'm obviously not a computer savvy person, but this is really slowing down my computer and I would appreciate any advice.

I totally agree that this is way annoying and I have the same site listed on my drop-down menu too :headache: Not sure why it started on my laptop and then a day or so later, it is now doing it on my desktop too :confused3 And the DISboards today are slower than slow :furious: Any suggestions????

I don't get any message when I hit the back button but nothing happens :mad: So I have to hit the back button twice or right click on the back arrow and click on the page I want :headache: When I right click on the back button then I can see the alltagcloud stupid link :furious:
I searched for alltagcloud on Google and found this. It is gibberish to me but might make sense to someone else :rolleyes1

The Cruise Critic forum had the following post:

"Apparently, Cruise Critic is employing that site as a SEO vehicle (Search Engine Optimization).... a technique to get good placement in Google, Yahoo, etc.

They invoke the site on every page... here is what is "behind the curtain" on this page, as an example:

Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:og="http://ogp.me/ns#" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml" dir="ltr" lang="en" >

<head>

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" />

<meta name="generator" content="vBulletin 3.7.3" />

<meta name="keywords" content=" alltagcloud, Cruise Forums, Cruise message boards, cruising info, cruise ship forums, cruise discussion boards, cruise chat, cruise talk, talk ship, cruise forum, cruise message board, cruise bulletin board, cruise critic, carnival, royal caribbean, disney, holland america, celebrity cruises, NCL" />

<meta name="description" content=" alltagcloud Norwegian Cruise Line" />

(My bold highlight) This is not a virus or malware.... it is supposed to be invisible to us users...the performance and back-button stall may mean the alltagcloud site is having problems."

This isn't anything suspicious or out of the ordinary. What you have here is just the header with the page title and meta data. The only reason "alltagcloud.info" even appears in the meta data on this particular page is because the thread title talks about it.

Go to one of the other threads, you won't see it in the keyword list.
