OH, IT'S A JOLLY HOLIDAY WITH YOU ALLIE


After our adventurous morning drawing,
we headed over to Pixar Pier for Toy Story Mania
and then Allie dragged me on the Incredicoaster again...







I tried VERY hard to keep my eyes open for the pic
and then immediately shut them again right after!
This being my second time on it, I still hated it.
I hate going upside down and this is somehow worse than RnRC
because it's daylight and I can see every loop and drop coming!

Next we headed over for another ride on GoTG...



We were pretty much done with everything we wanted to do at DCA
so we hopped to Disneyland had got some lunch at Jolly Holiday...

Or rather, I got some lunch and Allie didn't know what she wanted
so I convinced her to share half of the grilled cheese and some soup,
and then we split the Raspberry Macaron...

This was so pretty and tasted good too!

It was time to digest and have a relaxing ride on the Disneyland Railroad...

which is obviously better than WDW's version,
but also kind of weird to see for the first time with all the dinosaur scenes and whatnot.

Then it was back to Pirate's where I was mad all over again at how amazing this version is

LET'S GET WILD


We left the Pirates and went over to say hey to some ghosts,
including this guy...

The Hat Box Ghost
He is pretty cool to see and I'm excited about him coming to WDW.

I don't know if we were hungry again,
but we walked past the Tropical Hideaway and Allie couldn't resist...

She's a strawberry girl and totally loved this

Then it was back to Fantasyland for some WILD rides...


Alice in Wonderland was super fun and it cracks me up that they split the parties up to distribute the weight in the ride vehicle.
Such a cute ride though!


Pinocchio's was cute but no where near as fun as Mr. Toad's or Alice's.


Our last ride of the day before we headed out was Indy...

Indy Time!​

Shortly after, we headed back to Downtown Disney for dinner!
(I literally typed Disney Springs and had to go back and correct that!)

So is Incredicoaster basically like RnRC? I dont know if I would like that in broad daylight either.

Looking forward to Hatbox ghost coming to WDW. How is the Pirates ride different? I've heard it's longer.

Alice in Wonderland was super fun and it cracks me up that they split the parties up to distribute the weight in the ride vehicle.
Such a cute ride though!

I can't wait to ride this one! Hopefully March Break 2025 for DL!

That macaroon is adorable - and what a bonus that it was tasty, too!

And oooooh, the Hatbox Ghost! I’m pretty darn excited to see him on my next trip.

My goodness, you made it onto so many great attractions! You’re really making me want to visit Disneyland - I’d LOVE to try all the unique-to-California rides!

I know I didn't really explain it well. It's like RnRC in that it goes upside down and I think it has a fast launch but probably not as fast as RnRCs...someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I may have been blacked out taking off and don't fully remember! Otherwise, it's kind of cute with Incredibles music and scenes, and if you're a thrill junkie I'm sure you'll love it! Personally, I prefer SDD or 7DMT

It's longer at the beginning and that's really cool since you're floating past Blue Bayou and it's dark and quiet, and then there are two drops which is really fun! The rest of the ride is really similar, but those two parts really elevate the whole ride.

That to me was one of the greatest parts...comparing the experiences for myself. I've listened to multiple podcasts and watched YouTubers make comparisons over the years so it was fun to actually experience it!

If it goes upside down, it's a no go for me. You're a very good mom.

I felt bad because she didn't want to go by herself!

Now I'm really curious. What scenes do they have?

I grabbed some screen shots on a Youtube video.

You go past It's A Small World, which was really cool...


Then through the Grand Canyon...


And then you travel back in time...


I'm not sure what the story is here but it's funny to see, especially when you've been on the WDW RR as much as we have!
